Nope. Afraid not without a chunk of modifying. The P-20 is a really snug fit as it is. The 44 is much more of a lump to squeeze into the moulded back end.

Do you think it will take a Wren 44?

Gotta love the orange one
Looking forward to starting on mine, just as soon as I get back from Spain next week. I am betting it will be a quick build.

New brake valve from Jet Tronic.
Can screw on any PET bottle such as 0,5-1,5 ltr water bottle or soft drink.

I looked at this valve and it certainly is very neat especially if using electric retracts. Cost on the tag was 155 euro. JetA1 offer electric retracts as a 200 euro option. Going fully electric would be my option. Just pulling together a electric retract and brake option for the Tornado and juggling between JetA1 and Electron.

A step too far in cost maybe? All for a 5 min flight[:@] I for one am going to be really interested to see how aerodynamically efficient these huge airframes are when off the power. I know with my smaller EDF's I spend allot of time off power and utilising the energy in the airframe. Having a bit of stick time on these big jets, I just get the idea they wont behave the same off the power! I am sure I will be proved wrong

I'm sure it will work and work very well too, the DS-215 is a true masterpiece and I was just staring at it for at least 5 minutes in awe...
But I was just considering my experience that does not go beyond 6S1P 5000 mAh in a Habu 32 and was thinking of the 400 Amp OPTO regulator (the cables are thicker than those of my car!) and trying to imagine how big and heavy could the 14S 16000 mAh battery pack be..!
And then again (personal opinion) a jet must have that burnt kero aroma around!
In any case I love the big edfs I see in the meetings!

Thanks for the reply. I get the 2nd one off of the production line. I already have the batteries so it's just a matter of selecting an airframe. I have an1/5.5th scale F-16 that Eddie Lozano designed but I'm also considering a Tomahawk L-39 or a CARF/Skygate L-39. I guess we will see how it turns out.

Where can I buy those ejection seats?
Scott

Super light CNC milled depron ejection seat kit.
Very nice when assembled, the CARF L-39 had these in their cockpits.

I liked the look of the new X series Jet Munts turbines. All valves/sensors enclosed in turbine casing like the JC RX series.Available also with a really cool min ecu with blue lcd display that can be installed in the model. After wondering around the stands/drinking beer all day on Saturday, came to the conclusion that the new Jet Legend Sport/Viper Jet was what ticked all the boxes for me.Just awaiting for Jeff/Zedjet to get back to me regarding the e-retract version. This with a Jet Munts new 100x turbine (no smoke system) will be a powerful/light weight/easy set up sports Jet to progress with.

Ali,
Did you see the Grummania ME-262 at Maine Jets? That only has 2 P60's in it.
If you're planning to put P-100's in the Midi sized one you'll probably rip the wings off!

I did indeed and wow was it marginal for power. I see no reason why a pair off 100's would rip the wings off. That non sprung stick that adjusts the volume ( called the throttle ) also goes down as well as up

RE: JETPOWER 2012 products WOW !
I finally made it to Jetpower after sevral years of trying! had a good trip over with Geoff, Paul and Lozz . . . . it was certainly a good laugh on the way there and back! did not know where to look first! went straight into the first marquee and was faced with the jetcat stand and my attention was immediately drawn to the P90RXI and then the new 300/400RX's. Bennie's AMT Firebird was stunning! lovely paint job on that and his Kingcat. It was the first time i had seen and heard the Wren turbofan running and i was impressed with the performance.
Got a craving for a Mig 15 and i was hoping to get a look at the Global jet club Mig 15 but sadly it was not present, i did get a good look at the CARF Mig 15 and it is a good size with a lot of detail and a good candidate for a 90RXI. The CARF Mig and the L29 are the two favourites for a winter build, the L29 on the Air race stand was very nicely made and certainly a nice change to the normal subjects and i think a nice looking model. The Skymaster F-104 looked fantastic! and was flown very well as was the Aiworld Lightning which certainly had alot of power and was the first time i have seen one of these fly.
I have always thought the Futura to be ugly but the schemes i saw on the models at JP certainly changed my perception of the model as the ones on show really did look good! The Pari-Tech Viperjet was enormous! had been very well finished too. Only took a few photos, Lozz was the man for phots! trying to put them up but RCU is playing up yet again!
