CS TURBINE SERVICE, Mr Chris Soderhall ?
Hello guys,
I am trying to make contact with Mr Chris Soderhall from the CS TURBINE SERVICE center in Sweden.
Can any body help with a telephone number, or an e-mail address for him?
My Simjet NEXUS compressor failed on the Sunday afternoon during the Horizon Air Meet here in the USA.
I desire to purchas the CNC 5-Axis compressor that he has and have been unable to make contact.
Until then, the great J-35 Draken shall remain grounded!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Frank A Alvarez

In reply to Frema,
Thank you for the information regarding the original compressor offered by Garrett. Unfortunatly, I, and now three other compressor
failures on the Simjet 3600AES engines have occured in the summer.
I have had two! Jeff Dailey from Canada has had one, and another gentleman in Florida has had the fourth! All of these were from the latest batch of supplied "Garrett" original equiped compressors.
Of course, you will now ask if the engine had a FOD screen? In my case, always. In the others, not so sure.
Two failures in one summer is now rather suspicious. I would rather ensure a solid compressor less prone to failure, than to risk another in-flight failure at a moment when recovery would be impossible with total loss of the airframe.
Again , thank you for your information, I will pass it along to the other known Simjet operators.
Thank you again, fly safely,
Frank

you know what the problem with the simjets 3600 is?
the rpm
most of the engines are set at 123000 rpm
that is to high
from the factory , its 118000 till max 121000
i never saw a blade came of the turbine i had
and i can tell you its a good turbine ,realy powerfull
but i hope your engine will be alright soon
regards,
Martin.
