I just received my unit and it is awesome!
I got the 26X26 LCD and I am very impressed with the image quality and the amount of content that can be loaded and cycled through.

my unit weighted in at 40 grams which included a 700mah 1 cell lipo and a standard futaba power switch, I will be mounting it in my new ultra flash ASAP and will post some images of my install.

The Bell 412 demo cockpit is done ... this was a rush job, so a follow up with a few extra details here and there will be in order. These are all available now. ( http://www.iflytailies.com/ has these posted in the shopping carts as well now )

These are very cool!! I would love to see one replicate some analog instruments for older jets. Then we could build a panel around them. It would look awesome.

Andy, we can do anything someone could want. the sample media we have posted on the site is only an idea of what we can do ... I like your idea and will do a mock up as an example soon. .

Im also working on eventually making the instruments interactive with GPS and/or radio input. ..eventually

all the best,

some samples .. the FLIR and F18/16 radar/MFD are very easy to drop into any fighter .. the Garmin displays are perfect for something like a viper jet, sport plane, , etc . Green radar is perfect for the 60s era jets

Is there any way to make displays smaller for 1/6th or 1/8th scale F-16's? If so I am interested. VERY interested. In fact is it possible to display two images on the same screen? I am thinking I can fake the 1/8th scale dual display by using a single screen. One "Side" of the display (left MFD) shows whatever and the right display could show another image with a frame "seperating" the single screen into two screens.

Please let me know and I will follow up via Email.

Default RE: VoyTech-RC : Scale functional Model Instrument and MFD Displays

we have 4 sizes that can be adapted for any F-16 .. the 2525 is 25x25mm on the display area, and this is a TFT screen. The 2626 is 1mm larger on each side , however its an OLED ( very crisp and bright ).. for smaller sizes there is the 2014 ( 20x14m) and this is also a OLED. If a smaller screen is needed, we can always scale the display down , and you would cut out a smaller hole out of your panel for it. The display media can be sized to whatever size might be needed.

(this of course applies to the larger units as well. )

2525TFLLCD .. this is inside my Ultra Flash ... might as well, lol but its an idea on size .. (this one only has around 20x20mm visible of the 25x25 screen as the pannel i used had no space left for a larger view .)

and this is the tiny 2014

sorry about the poor video quality, we are working on getting better video. Because of the scan rate as well as the brightness/contrast, its hard for me to get good pictures/video of these, and how great they look when seen in person ...

Because he can. And I think it looks amazing. It's the same reason why I added a detailed cockpit to my Habu 32. Because it looks awesome and I enjoy getting the "ooooo's" from the guys at the field who don't fly jets at all. So it's in an ultra flash. Who cares? If you don't like it then don't do it. Wojtec don't listen to the haters. Thier opinion is not everyone's.

Because some people want to add more "fun" factor to their sport jets ... after all, FUN is what this hobby should be about .. I have seen King Cats with cockpits better than any A10 or Hawk I have ever seen, and though not scale, it was definitely cool [8D] To some people the fact we fly toy planes is "senseless"

Yup exactly. Just like I said above, don't listen to the haters, they sometimes get so caught up in the details that they forget why we do this in the first place. Wojtec I sent an e-mail to [email protected] . I just want to confirm that is the right way to contact you?

Hi Pepperpete,

I saw your email and shot off a reply ... I think FLIR1 and FGH1 would be great options for what you are looking for ..

the could work on either the 2525TF , or the 2626OLED

we do have a little 20x14 MM that would be perfect for a Habu

have a good night guys !

Hi Wojtek - which display would fit the SM 1:6 F-16? I need 2 screens, and like the flir and fighter content, but looking at your website,
it seems that the size of the smallest display is not written correctly there?

the 2626OLED would be the best for a SM F-16. The smallest display is not a square, and yea, it is 20mm x 14mm . this is either good for tiny cockpits, or smaller engine / radar displays. The small recrangular screens on my Bell 412 are the 2014OLED.

Im going to be attending the jet event at Hamburg PA this weekend. After I return, I'll get some more standardized content up that would work for f/16 and F-18 aircraft I will also have online shopping open next week on the web site as well.. http://www.iflytailies.com has these listed on their web store now .. ( make sure to indicate content when ordering )

all best,

Wojtek

These are so cool .  I was going to suggest you post this in the heli groups and saw that you had the Bell 412.  The UH-60M is soon to be the most popular heli in the military world and having that cockpit might get you a lot of RC heli guys.

So far the customer service from Woj has been great. I was very demanding and specific with what I wanted and he is sure he can accomodate me. I think this is going to look amazing and of course I will show everyone here the end result once I get the gear. Woj go ahead and send the payment details over and I will take care of it tonight.
