So the story so far, the model has been given a second coat of primer over the lining tape, this way subsiquently rubbed down with 400 wet n dry paper wet. The rivets were then burn into the paint using special tips that I turned up on my lathe. Approximately 5000 rivets were added. The model was then rubbed down with 400 wet again, this is to remove the paint around the rivets that blisters up. I then removed the lining tape.
The model is now in the paint shop and has had it's first coat of the base colour (pale yellow). After its had its second coats then I will mask up the underside and the pale yellow areas of the camo ready for the second colour medium grey, then the final colour olive drab.

Ok this has been a bit of a wind up for Steve who is the owner of this flash. I hope you like it mate. This what was are basing the scheme on, it's going to be an aggressor US Marines VMET-101 (03) s/n 776081 futuristic scheme, not scale, I have change the original scheme from the L39 (pictured) as I wanted the lines on the fuse to be more slanted due to model being a fast looking model.

It looks fantastic! Not wanting to be negative but a real shame about that rudder arm cut out in the fin, though.

Excellent! That will clean things up nicely - the scheme looks so good it would have been a shame not to do something with the cut out. Really looking forward to seeing pics of it all together, the scheme really suits the plane.
