Default Smoking jet formation flyging under the big Octacopter

As HAB Electronic are engineering and selling both airplanes and multicopters we thoght combining the toys would be pretty fun. Here we are playing with two Venom jets and a huge Octacopter. Amir and me are trying our best to fly formation around and under the hovering camera rig.

This is the first test trying to track an aircraft and the video is uncut, but it gives a hint of what is possbile :-)

Quite fun with Multicopters too, here are the bestseller "Paparazzi Y6" in action, a very hot race machine 100% in house designed and manufactured. Capable of over 60mph while shooting video from the gyro stabilized gimball. 6 engines provides redundancy too :-)

Yep. Caught that as well and it could pan and keep the jet in the middle of the view almost as well as a seasoned cam man.

Hi Henke,
Nice coaxial hexa! I also work with a hexa, coaxial octo and a T-rex 800. TV stuff...
Have You seen the provisional ICAO and EASA regulations?
TP.

Well, yes. They would make any work flying difficult. Certified airframes, pilots, etc etc. Yes this needs to be regulated somehow but this would put a 40 gram micro quad and a 150 kg UAV under exactly same rules.
Seems that your gimbal stablization still needs tuning...it can be better than that you have now. The roll axis especially.
But we can pm this more. Here's something I made a while ago:
My roll axis stabilation was then quite ok, but drifted badly.
Fixed it then with a new firmware. It really takes time to get the gimbals work.
