Default Baldock NLMFC fly in Sunday 14th

Spent a pleasurable day at a club flyin held just north of London today. mainly a large model event but a good selection of jets were flying. Only got a few shots, hopefully others taking pictures will post.
Shots of my CARF Hawk, John V's Carpenter Gnat, Colin Straus-Skymaster Sabre. Ali was there with his big F-16 and others but I didn't see it fly. Alan Cardash had a PKZ Stryker with a Lambert on that Ali test flew!!

Superb day at Baldock today. More decent models and flying than at some public events this year!

Great shot of dads gnat on climb out too. Thats the first aerial shot we have of it. Thanks Dave (and Claire)

Here's a pic of Alan with his Kolibri Stryker.

Bittersweet as the plane flew brilliantly in spite of Ali's judgement of the turbine mounting angle - but the little Kolibri decided it was not going to show up for a full day's work. [:@]

Hey Dave,

Sure was great to meet you again and hang out at the field for the day. Nice mix of jets and warbirds with the odd glider thrown in for variety. Seemed like a overall a great bunch and a great venue. And thanks again for the coffee - even if it was Italian!

Hope we get the chance to host you over here in Canada some time. We'll take you to Tim Horton's and you'll never go back to Krispy Kreme (did I see them in Heathrow?)

Cheers,

PaulD
