I grew up in SoCal... and they would hit all the time. I lived though the Landers quake... and the Whittier Narrows quake.

Since moving to Pitt... I can say that's I've only felt one in the past 12 years.

Lol,
Yes I remember those growing up in SoCal. I even stayed in bed during a minor one and went back to sleep!

It was caused by the Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves.

a 4.6 will rock me to sleep...come over to Greece for a scale 6 ride.
...my problem is that they like to hit in the early fivish morning hours ... can't we just change it to evenings [:@]

I think ill pass..when you have never felt one its an eerie feeling..That 4.6 might as well been a 6 for me..I couldnt see getting use to that..I guess we are a little spoiled in New England when it comes to earthquakes...

Here we have 5 to 6 scale almost every week. The las big one 27Feb2010 was 8.8. Thay will give you a big shot of adrenaline.

Believe it or not, for some people it is something you get used to.

Here in Cali, a 4.6 is just a almost a daily occurance and go bye mostly unnoticed.
When they get above 7.0 thats when $#!% starts coming Down.[X(]
