Default Earthquake in New England

Now I know people in Cali will be laughing at me, but we just had a 4.6 earthquake in New England..Never felt one before but nearly S*%T my pants..hahahah, thought a b52 was landing down the road..Anyone else feel that???

I grew up in SoCal... and they would hit all the time. I lived though the Landers quake... and the Whittier Narrows quake.

Since moving to Pitt... I can say that's I've only felt one in the past 12 years.

Yes I remember those growing up in SoCal. I even stayed in bed during a minor one and went back to sleep!

a 4.6 will rock me to sleep...come over to Greece for a scale 6 ride.
...my problem is that they like to hit in the early fivish morning hours ... can't we just change it to evenings [:@]

I think ill pass..when you have never felt one its an eerie feeling..That 4.6 might as well been a 6 for me..I couldnt see getting use to that..I guess we are a little spoiled in New England when it comes to earthquakes...

Here we have 5 to 6 scale almost every week. The las big one 27Feb2010 was 8.8. Thay will give you a big shot of adrenaline.

Believe it or not, for some people it is something you get used to.

Here in Cali, a 4.6 is just a almost a daily occurance and go bye mostly unnoticed.
When they get above 7.0 thats when $#!% starts coming Down.[X(]

we have had three in dallas over the past few weeks. The fracking companies are taking the blame and telling us its a 'good' thing...
