any bugJetcat Pump repair
Has anybody had one of the terminal break off the pump before [&o] ... if theyve managed to repair it any advice please?

If you bend the tabs a couple of times they break. Not an easy repair (new motor really needed) and if the electric motor stops, so does the turbine and there goes an expensive airframe...possibly

I repaired two JetCat pumps for exactly that reason, have a look on the JetCat Turbine forum I posted how I did it on there.

Mike thats great, make sense now Ive seen the pics no rush I had a spare anyway ... at £130 im not going to right it off thats for sure ...

Yep that's what I thought, you may notice that the repair was done in 2010 and its still running now in my Rookie, as it always happens, I did the spare pump I already had and I have not needed it as the repair has stood the test of time.

Yeah! Fixed!
Thanks for the advice Mike and Mark, quite an enjoyable little repair really, drilled it out alittle, scraped some of the plastic from against the inset portion of the broken tab, a bit of flux and small dob of solder from a small soldering iron and were done, feels quite solid ... tested it all seems ok ... ching ching!
