Default I-Gyro HELP!!!!

May be a dumb question for some of you.

I am trying to get my POwerBox I-gyro set up on my Spectrum DX18.
I have it in an Electric plane for testing. Before I put it in one of my jets.

I can not figure out how to get it set up on the 2 sliders to set the gains and the 3 position switch so it can be shutoff. Can any one help?????

Thanks Greg, I was hoping Tim would chime in here as I don't have his phone number.

I have it installed and bound with the Reciever that came with the Dx18. All Gyro controls are working in the correct direction. I used the values that are shown in the I-Gyro instructions.
I just can't turn it off or adjust the gain.

I even flew it yesterday, What a rush.............Had a he!! of a time getting it to turn so I could land......... It wanted to go straight, in a cross wind.........LOL

Try the powerbox forum, they're very quick to respond.

I don't have mine in front of me but I'm pretty sure I had to assign the gain adjustment to the sliders via the gyro itself. But it was a while ago that I did it and it's on a DSX 12 so things may be different. I seem to remember assigning the gain to a channel using the adjuster switch and then if necessary just reassigned the switches on the TX to make sure the gain was where I wanted it. Once the gain is set I locked the value in the unit and it was no longer assigned to a channel so it could not be changed until I decide to do it again if necessary.

Again - going from memory here. Fly, find the gain setting that works, leave that slider alone and land. You can then use the switch to go to that gain setting and deactivate the channel it's assigned to, so the number you have in there is set. It literally takes a minute or so to do - you've done the more complicated bit by getting it assigned to a slider.

So how do I deactivate the channel it is assigned to? Reset the values to "0"?
