BMT turbine parts help.
Hi all
Does anyone remember the BMT 120KS turbine and if so can you help?
I've been given one which needs some work, but Im having difficulty chasing parts (BMt are out of production).
In particular I'm after a NGV and the propietry TCU (FADEC).
The NGV I have is damaged - see photos.
Does anyone recognise its maker, assuming that BMT didn't make them in-house?
Also, what do you make of the damage (see second photo)? Is it a write-off, dangerous, or merely likely to be inefficent?
Any help gratefully received.

RE: BMT turbine parts help.
It may drop the efficacy... but it could probably be welded, and ground back into shape.
I've TIG'ed inconel with 625 rod... but it was virgin material. I'm not sure how well "used" metal will weld. (never tried that)

Thanks but just measured and the jetmax NGVs are different.
Does anyone know of other manufacturers of NGVs that look like the one above (around 72.50mm OD)?

No Matt, Andre and BMT are long gone. ( with my money, unfortunatly ) Please guys be careful when dealing with Andre. Ask anyone that knows me will tell you the horror story that I went through begging him for engines and parts

owner A-1 Hobby ,former BMT importer and repair facility. now I am just another sucker that he got to. I know for a fact that he owes Jesus Artes a ton of money for turbine wheels that the ordered and never paid for. I wish I had some parts so I could help you guys out. The BMT KS was a great engine but Andre is a horrible businessman

RE: BMT turbine parts help.
Do you reckon it might be an Artes NGV then?
And, has anyone tried using a Xicoy Kero start plug and ECU setup with one of these turbines?

Pleasingly Jetmax have a blank cast NGV to suit, but I'm not sure my machining skills are up to it. Does anyone know the typical gap between the turbine wheel blades and the NGV? Is it approx 0.1 - 0.15mm?
