How to dissasemble Tamjets 1/8th Scale F-16 Wheels? Brakes won't lock tight...Help?
Does anyone know how to dissassemble the Tamjets 1/8th Scale F-16 non scale wheels? They are not leaking air but there is almost no tension on the wheels when I engage the brakes. I want to take them apart to see if something is worn out but I can't for the life of me figure out how they dissassemble.

loosen the bolt holding the axle to the strut, and they will slide right out...

You've got to be kidding me...that's it?? Thanks Wayne that is the only thing I didn't think would make a difference. I suppose I should have tried it first. [&:] Did your brakes lock completely or was there a fair amount of give when you tried to rotate the tires with the brakes engaged?

They hardly ever locked up, but were enough to slow it down pretty quickly.....
