Hey Larry,
If I decide to say screw work tomorrow night , I will come up for the day, depending on weather. Would like to see the Fury fly again. Is mine out of the mold yet? LOL
Jimmie
PS Will try to get hold of Ron

I just ran across your post this morning and had lost track of your progress. Congratulations on great success with your project. I still haven't flown my F-94C due to no modeling time over the past 2 yrs. Things are better now and I hope to get in a lot of flying this summer.

Hi Sid,
Thanks. I have five flights on it now. Today I had a air leak in the retracts and didn't get a chance to fly it. Hope to have the problem repaired for next weekend. As you can see from the video, it is very stable and lands real slow. Since I have been building and flying model planes, this is my best accomplishment yet. I'm sure your F-94C will fly for you just like my FJ-1 did for me.....

I have gotten great satisfaction in building my model but successfully flying it will be even more satisfying.

Hey Larry,
Sorry about your gear issue. As you know I was not able to make it up to Hamburg.
Got home Sunday morning from work sick as a dog. Spent most all day trying to feel better. A little better now , but did not go to work either.
See you next time you go to Hamburg. Just keep us posted when you go.

Hi Jim & Jimmie,
The last two photos were taken early this year, not from last Sunday where I had turbine problems. Just to let everyone know, if you have an older P-120 like I have, there are no parts for them. I had a EGV in the rear of the turbine come up with small hairline cracks in it and I can't get a replacement one without replacing the bearing tunnel also. Just have to wait and see what my plans are. I might trade it in on a new P-120, will just have to wait and see. I have a P-80XE that needed a new compressor, so I have a compressor coming and Kerry Sterner will be putting it back together for me. 23 pounds of thrust instead of 28 pounds. Should fly the Fury just fine. I will know next week....

Unless you know someone who has a inlet with a starter and electronic board I can borrow or buy, I wont be able to fly the Fury. I ordered a new compressor for my P-80SE but I didn't order a inlet with starter and electronic board. The one for the P-120 won't fit. Kerry Sterner installed the compressor and balanced the turbine tonight, I didn't notice the difference until I got home and went to assemble everything. See you on Thursday....
