As you may know, a pipe will degrade thrust.
WRONG!! It might decreae the thrust yes, but it can also add thrust. This is not guessing, it's from testing.

He's right. The wren Pipe is a diverging design, and it will add up to 5%. I have a 44 in a CMP T-45... and I have it turned down to 8 Lbs of thrust... using a Wren pipe... and it still gets off the ground in 100' or less.

Going back to my post above, and saying that Barry (kingtech) watches this board to answer Q's...... Well... I stumbled across Bob's account, and he hasn't signed on since 2008. I know he may be busy at the shop... but I think it leads to good customer service to be on this board. (it has to be the most active RC jet board around)
