Default FEJ vampire

For those few with this aircraft you may have noticed the spade bolts screwed into the nose gear strut to jury rig some steering. I was uncomfortable trying to Loctite this or jury rig some pull pull system and had a machine shop make a collar to clamp on the strut with the steering ball link. Perfect and no fears of wobbling down the runway.

picture of nose collar (spare one). Although rudders are small elected to do pull pull with metric secraft parts. Be forewarned the plastic is very hard on their ball links and I could not get them to self-thread so had to use left and right handed 3mm taps.

Nice modification another way is to drill through the ring into the strut and use a screw to prevented it from moving.

Inboard flap horns installed. Need to program the servos and put the pushrods in place. Did extensive modification to the fuse bulkhead supporting the wing spar mounts. Do need to watch the wings fold. Will try to get some photos of what I did. Still working on outboard flaps, more complicated
