Yeah, right, the bumper on the underside of the tail, designed to withstand in case of tail accidentliy striking the ground on landings or take-off. Very difficult to find a good picture of it. :-(

Yes, those drag-doors is a real pain in the *****. I did my best to get the geometry right as I wanted it to resemble what the full-size looks like. Not all 100% but not too bad I think. Hope the pics clarify some.

Thanks for the info. I too have seen this, but documentation from various sources differ a lot, especially as far as drawings and 3-views go, therefore a good photo would be appreciated. There were a lot of (minor) modifications from Fagot-A thruout the bis-version. Also if the MiG were Soviet, Polish, or Czech- built meant differing to some detail. One have to remember, this aircraft were in production and service for quite a long time and various modifications is expected to take place over time I`m sure.
