RE: F84F Thunderstreak
Is this a new one or the Phantasy in Blue One he flew at Warbirds over the Midwest here in Fond du Lac 2 years ago, re-done.......in any case, one of the sweetest flying and landing giant scale warbirds I have ever seen.....Brian does a superb job on the sticks....

Very nice plane indeed. What engine goes inside this plane...a P200? Also wonder if the horizontal stabilizer is an all moving one or not.

FAN TASTIC. Certainly a stunning example of model aviation at it's finest!
I always liked the F-84F. Very special aircraft as far as aircraft design goes. It bridged the gap between the earlier gen fighters and the Century series. I also liked the family tree of "nicknames" the Republic fighters were granted, as far the pilots would have it. According to what I gather many pilots called the Republic P-47 the "Hog" and then some of those guys later in their careers flew the the Republic F-84 (straight wing) jet and it also kept that nick name. Then the Republic F-84F was nicknamed the "Super Hog" by pilots. and then the Republic F-105 was dubbed by some the "Ultra Hog" in addition to others like the Sled and the Thud. Then we have the Republic designed A-10 keeping the "Hog" nickname (Warthog, etc).
This example is simply stunning. I am always amazed by the collaborative talent, hard work, dedication and skill shown in the jet community as reflected by these projects.

Henry did a superb job building this jet and Brian is an ace at the controls.

Henry is very talented, but I have only seen him smoking cigarettes and looking at these models, I wonder if he has secret elves that do the work :-)
I love those early Republic planes, take a look at the XF-91 Thunderceptor. V Tail variant too!!
