More Aurora custom schemes.

The factory strive to treat fellow pilots like we would want to be treated.. Right down to customized special order schemes.

Haha Dean! Yup looking forward to getting it up and running ASAP and seeing how all that carbon looks! (And what my RF numbers will look like :-) )

I wanted something a little different, have always loved the lambo green so had this done. Scott liked it so much he jumped in with the lambo orange version. Shame they're unlikely to fly together! (Hint to Scott to put me up in Texas LOL)

Smitty, I have to say that it has been a refreshing change dealing with someone as helpful and reliable as you. Nothing has been a problem, response to mails has been immediate (I don't know if you sleep!?) and your willingness to make sure I was happy with everything made the whole process a blast!

I really didn't expect this, or the quality overall for the money you charge!!

Mine needs final clear on fuse and buffing then it ships.

After much deliberation I'm going P180 and leaving the 220 on the shelf for another project.

110% my pleasure.. one modeler to another

I Love seeing a project go from fabric roll and a wood pile to bringing enjoyment to people.. It's a blessing..

What do you need to know Mario? Most web sites carry the basic size/weight/costs info

So whose going to be first to fit lights to the Aurora? Would be a cool factory addition built into the wing tips.

The Aurora flying around at Florida Jets with lights on against the grey sky!!

Im really looking forward to receiving my new Spider Aurora!
I was blown away by the quality of the latest glass versions Aurora that we were flying at Florida Jets. The model flys fantastic! The glasswork is the best in the business! Internals are very nice! Beautiful jet!
I had to get one of the All Carbon Spider Version asap!
Thanks to Mark Schroeder and his help with the new scheme! It really came out beautiful. And Thanks to Smitty for such a wonderful job making it come to life. Smitty has been great to deal with. Like Mark says, I don't know if he sleeps! I sometimes write him not remembering its 3am over there and he always responds! The communication is the best!
It like ordering a custom high end car with Smitty. You tell him what you want down to the last spec and he makes it happen!
4-5 weeks later and it done!
Any scheme you can dream of or pick from one of the many available.
For what you get the price is truly unbelievable!
Ill post pics as soon as it gets here!

I firmly agree Scott. I sometimes forget that their weekends fall on a Friday & Saturday but you always get a response from Smitty. That's the beauty of the Aurora Project, pick a scheme and it's done, with extra creative touches thrown in for good measure. Really pleased both you and Mark like your Lamborghini schemes, yet again Smitty and the factory came up trumps for us. The first carbon scheme of the production line to be sent to the UK in the Union Jack Spider scheme is being fitted out currently and we'll post further details as they come available. Jetcat 180rx powered and fully electric Behotec retracts and brakes. Flight video to follow too as well as installation photos which will lead to an installation manual, not that this is going to be that bulky as most of the work is already done but modelers like to see a book of words sent as a guide.

Throughout our development support for Smitty, flight video production, demoing at Jetpower and flying throughout the UK last year by Jamie Cuff I have never actually owned my own Aurora but have finally decided to take the plunge and gone for the grp clear canopy Ferrari scheme to use as my club hack. With the UK having so few Tarmac strips, and we're about to loose one of the best in RAF Wroughton, which is being laid over to a solar farm (how bonkers is that in the UK!!!!), the Aurora has proved to be the type of model which can be flown in and out of a relatively short grass strips and therefore fills the gap for those jet pilots wanting a large model with local club flying capabilities.

Like the music industry breaking into the US market is a sign of success and this has happened now which is fabulous.
