There really is no need to use a gyro on this model. She flies rock steady with no vices.

you will enjoy the extra authority the gyro applies to the aurora, ive been playing with an igyro , just waiting for a software patch to open up the heading hold value a bit more, come on PB !

Back from work last week and now caught up on the non plane stuff so I started the Aurora last night.

So far I've enlarged the rear exit hole for the pipe which will be fixed with high temp black silicon.

Painted the interior with primer then a coat of matt black.

Marvelled at the size and craftsmanship of the P180 RXI, then scratched my head as to why there isn't a GSU in the box.

More head scratching on the tank and why they didn't make it longer to fit over the top of the tray emboss.

Built the oleos.

What FOD screen are people using for the P-140/180 (same dia)?

Good afternoon Colin,

To help you with the head scratching.. At the factory we make a custom tank that fits in the tray emboss.
Your tank is from a different supplier..
Most people just invert the tank tray so the tank will fit flat..

Enjoy.. I was just notified that the Aurora won best sport jet performance at the Jets over Kentucky Airshow in the US.

So feel free to wring her out..

Hi Collin,
the easiest way to overcome this problem is to cut out a groove where the tank sits at the back of the tray

If you need any further help please do not hesitate to give me a call.

So life got in the way but finally pulling the finger out to finish the Aurora. Just the ailerons to do (waiting on better servo arms), details4scale lighting system to install (when it arrives) then a final balance.

Tomorrow the turbine is going to be ran for the first time, very excited.

Anything is possible if the demand is there.

A clear canopy with cockpit detail would be cool.

Default Aurora Wing Tube

Hello,

Need some help, I seemed to have lost my wing tube for my Aurora. Does anyone have the dimension ( looks like 30mm ) for the tube?
