I always thought the Futura was a "marmite/vegemite" (do you get either of these in the US?) airplane.... you love it or you hate it.

Beautiful outstanding work.. maybe you can polish a turd afterall

here it is Cleared. you can see how the clear coat and the candies really make it look hot. I can do all kinds of schemes. Sport and scale looking. But I do it all with urethane Automotive paints that will last you for the life of your model. or until that tree at the end of the field grows an extra 20 feet!!! lol!! My website is oversprayer.com the site may be down still until tomorrow. Thanks for the comments everyone!!!

Craig,

I've been a lurker on these Futura threads for awhile. Watching them fly at SJS 2012 somewhat peaked my interest, always looking for "the next project". Maybe the smaller one will be it...who knows. Besides I already helped pay for a large one.

These Futuras you've been doing are amazing! I saw one at Joe Nall 2012 that was sweet.

The Futura is a peculiar sport jet model, and my decision to get one was partially because of the one I saw you painted at the Nall...keep 'em coming!
