CARF Skygate Hawk in the house !

Would it be possible for you to post a picture of your completed wing light cover in position. I'm not keen on just screwing the supplied (poor quality) cover onto the wing tip. I think it needs to be recessed in some and I'm just wondering if this is what you ended up doing?
Thanks for any help

Hi Jeff, Thank you. It is amazing how much room the cockpit takes and how little room is left to work with for the install. I have not installed a Smoke tank yet and getting close to have to balance. Will see where batteries go and take it from there.

My Feedback: (33)
I started with flight pack batteries under the pilot beside of the nose gear. I have moved them to behind the main gear doors. I am using Zippy's 4100 MAH 2s life. They weight 287 grams each.
I use a 2100 3s life the turbine and have it located just behind the front pilot on the board that I have all the radio gear on. I would like to move it back but I can find the room. I am using a Skymaster pilot figure and he is heavy. I didn't weight him but I don't want to use 2 pilots becuase I don't need the extra nose weight.
The factory balance numbers are good but i feel like are a bit on the nose heavy side. Mine will not hold the nose up on the wheels very long at all. I know that when it is balances right you can ride a wheelie.

Thanks Jeff. I bought a pilot from I Fly Tallies and is only 6.5Oz including the helmet. I will be also using one. Batteries are Duralite + a lipo + a 4 cell for the lights. I think around the center section will be the right area for them. But, will report.
