Thanks for the info Ali
Ali, what engine was in the model you were flying and do you know the approx weight?
If anyone else has photos of the install and the model can you please post?
Cheers,
Paul.

No problem Paul.
Turbine was an AJT I think.. Something like a 160. Sorry I was told but have slept since then. Weight. Again I was told.... but [:@] I think it was around the 23kg. Whatever it was, it was bordering on too light! If you had seen the take off at half power. You would know what I mean. it didnt even sound like the turbine was at half either, and it just rose off the grass! It was very much a proto so the instal was rough and ready. The factory are playing around with intakes to try and lessen the nose weight. The turbine currently sits in the cockpit. Whilst I told them there was no need to do this and that it would always be one of those jest that needs a hefty amount of church roof in the front, they are really trying hard to get the model in under the 25 kg wet rule in Germany.
Regards Al

Hi Dave.
Thats a tough one.. It all depends on what you class as ready to sell. Fault free and 100% sorted??? Then no. But then again, I dont know of many/ any jet products that are to be honest. The issues that we had on the prototype were all pretty minor and easy to deal with. I would be more than willing to deal with what needs doing ( Gear door cylinder attachment points and turbine placement/ centre of gravity ) The rest of what I was not happy with on the model I flew was to do with the set up.

A video from flight number 2 if I am not mistaken. Take off was at just over half power ( Note the slow acceleration and roll out speed )

completed plywood ring that supports wing spar clamps for carbon fiber tube with carbon graphite cloth epoxy resin holding to top of fuse. Inside bonnet under platform layed in 3 layers of 6 ounce cloth and the LiFe batteries will be secured with Velcro. Will be mounting switches and fuel fill on platform under the bonnet

Maiden and a 2nd flight today at the Grice Aerodrome.. Would have done a third but have a small fuel leak around one of the festo fittings or fuel filter I need to sort out, Very nice flyer. Stall speed very low probably 40 mph based on real time telemetry readings. \
