Default Fueling/Defueling fittings

Looking for some recomendations for clean and reliable fill ports and fueling probes for kero and smoke?
I've been using the Dreamworks jett-flow fittings (or the identical McMaster Carr equivalent) and while they are a nice fitting I find that the oring quickly swells after a few uses making them a pain to get on while fueling.

Looks like Jersey Modeller may offer an alternative but I can't really make sense from the photos or description what they are like. Anyone use them, or offer another option? They call it JMFV and JMFP...

At the moment I would need one fill probe for my kero can and one fill probe for my smoke can. Also would need 5 in-model fill ports for kero and 2 for smoke.

Thanks, Sean

I use the Dreamworks jett-flow fittings in all my jets without a problem. I do try to change the o-rings once a year and in that way I don't have problems with filtration or the fittings getting stuck. I use o-rings from a set that is sold by Dreamworks. I wouldn't change them for anything else.

Ask Tod or Linda if they can recommend fuel resistant o-rings.

This is what I use on all my jets, also on my gassers, and for smoke:

I can't imagine paying up to $30 for something that doesn't work as well. These plugs (or fuel dots) seal nicely in tygon tubing. On my fueler the "probe" is nothing more than a short piece of brass tubing inserted into tygon.

I just bought the Dreamworks product but haven't used it yet. In my industry we work with o-rings (blue in color) that see jet fuel every day and don't swell up. We just need to get the proper size and part number
figured out and we'd have the solution.

Sean all i have ever used is the same thing that joe has suggested and i like to use the 6MM clear tubing and a Festo fitting on my fuel jug and also the clear 6MM tubing on the fill line going to my UAT.

Our Jett-Flow units are fitted with Viton orings, they should NOT be swelling!? I'll work on getting replacement orings in Viton as well.

Thanks Todd. Let me know when you get some replacements up on your site. I'll take a half dozen. That would certainly be the easiest solution at this point. And who doesn't like easy?
