I would be interested in seeing pictures of the tank installed too. My Hotspot is getting restored with new paint after many many flights. Will be upgrading to a 130 size motor, the P80 was a bit lethargic. I would like to go with a strong carbon fiber wing tube as well.

Zak you have seen my hotspot flying for years with a p-160 with no modifications and my flying surfaces are not even glassed, just covered with oracover. If it wasn't strong enough it would have broke by now.

Merry Christmas fellow Hotspot flyers! I got one for Christmas!!! . I got a P80 for my birthday so now it's time to read all these posts (again) and start building! It came with the wings and tail booms already glassed and primed. It even has the air brake installed with a air piston! Also included is the Jet Tech 105oz Kevlar fuel tank already plumbed! The cockpit is already built, has an internal mounting system, and has a clear canopy from Spain! I will be taking my time finishing it as I want to install gear doors. I need to hurry up and finish my Super Falcon/P70 combo so I can get "hot" . Happy New Year!

Carlos how much room there is underneath the air brake with the fuel tank installed? It looks a bit tight.

Regards
Zack

Hi, no there are too much free space, you must fit the back piston upper possible.

Hi Carlos,

Nice tanks i see you have new fittings on them very nice! One of the tanks that Pavlos ordered is for me looking forward to get it! I see from the pictures on your hotspot that the tank is far forward from the speed brake because when i made a similar vent on the coke bottle it was touching the speed brake.

Regards
Zack
