RE: EXM MINI
I wonder, as this is a balsa plane, what it the wing mounting mechanism and how much G's will the plane be able to withstand.
flying it with a 12-14 lbs turbine will get it going at approx 150-160mph, do you think the airframe will be able to sustain a high G loads due to elevator yanking on high speed passes?
Joao - do you have some pictures of the inside of the plane and the wing mounting?
hopefully this airframe will turn out to be a winner and not brake down in mid air...
any thoughts?

Ouch?? The BVM Bandit airframe is $3400 and the comp arf Flash is $2300. This is a ridiculous deal!

There is no comparason to those two jets. Those are composite/fiberglass built in a mold jets. This is an interlocking plywood/balsa jet covered in plastic covering that looks like the bandit or even the old BVM Maverick. Needs to be compared more with Modellbau jets. But! I do think it is great to have smaller, less expensive jet options. I went to the larger jets, due to no choices in the smaller jets, or they couldn't carry the fuel for more then a 6 minute flight.
