Henke nice work as usual, wondered why you chose a dye for the epoxy and more specifically why pink?

Ah OK seems an honest enough explanation - looks kinda radio-active

The canards are beeing balanced with lead shots. I do not know if it's needed but it won't harm I guess.

Landing gear and servos are in place. The parts do fit well. The linkages are a bit beefy, but I beleve it adds marginal weight and provides a good rigid setup to match my Futaba über servos
I do not know if I ever will disassembly the airplane but I added multiplex type of connectors if I decide to remove the wings in the future.

I've started assembling the accessories that will be mounted in the nose. The bullet shaped aux bridge is quite heavy at 100grams, but as it doubles as holder for a numerous gizmos, includeing the canard servo I think the weight is not that bad. Also the weight is added way in front of the CG which is good.
I've choosen the Jeti range for supplying electricity. A SBEC capable of 6.2A continious controlled by a DSP 40 switch is all that's needed :-) I'm also installing a lighting system from HAB with insane brightness. The controller is also seen on the board and will be connected to the DSP 40 as well.
Two batteries are needed, a 3S 2500mAh for Rx, lighting and breaks and a very overkilled 2S 2500mAh for the two engines.
The new Lambert ECU that's just ready for production

Lights are going in the Eurofighter. Hobbyking do sell excellent LED systems but I want to support my local dealer ;-)
I choose the small LED driver from HAB to handle wing tip lights green/red + 2 strobes and a landing light.
HAB offers these LEDs in a number of diffrent states. I choose to buy them solderd at HAB with heatsink and wires as it is a fiddly job to do and the LEDs easily breaks if it's done wrong.
The plastic armatures I make are called "Aerodomes" and are avilable in all sort of shapes and sizes. I choose the standard size and a curvature to fit the surfaces on my Eurofighter. 30mm for wingtips, 48mm for turtledeck and a flat one for the belly.
The LEDs solderd and ready to be glued in my Aerodomes. Large heatsink for solid light and small for strobes.
The LEDs + heatsink fits perfect in the custom Aerodome armatures
Thin CA glue fixes the LED-assembly to the plastic Aerodome, then fill up with thick glue to make it durable.
I prefer to sand the surface to hide the insides and make the light spread a little more.
Finnished Aerodomes :-)
Wingtips with the 30mm Aerodome
Turtledeck with 48mm Aerodome
Gotte love the Galaxy Note 2 with it's best pic option to capture the strobe ;-)
Alot of light well visible even on a sunny day. ...and this is noly 1LED per armature, they can carry three each(!)
