I am looking for flap servo options and wondering what standard size ultra high torque options there are other than say JR 8711 or Savox SC1256TG? Also digital or anologue?

Std size servos in my mind are 19mm width servos like the 8411. the 8711 is wider at 20.5mm but at the new special price the 8711 wins every time. Always always Digital, they were designed with flaps in mind...

I know they are not popular as some seem to have issues with them, I have used the 5955TG's in petrol 3D airframes for years without issue so the 7955's should be better, spec below:

A Hitec 5645 is a standard size hi torque metal geared digital servo and more that adequate for flaps on most jets, if for some reason you need more power use the 5755

I need them for the flaps on my big Tutor, the manual recommends 8711's, just wondering if there were any others in the same league that people trust with their multi $$$$ jet? I'll have a look at the Hitec's.

Go with the JR, i know that others would argue to the contrary but i would not trust Hitec in my jets and at £80 for the 8711 it does not make sense to go for Hitec. Buy with confidence, fit and forget!

Looking at what the 7955 is going for which is about 60 ish quid, the saving is not really worth it when you compare it to what you would have spent on the airframe and turbine.

I am a big JR fan, but cant complain about Hitec 625,645,5625,5645 either have used them for years.

I regard to torque/servo power most modellers dont understand what actually are the forces on the control surfaces, and how to properly install the arms/linkages so you are not making your 25kg servo about 5.

Very few control, surfaces or the wooden blocks stuck to ply which servos are mounted in will take a load of 25kg (more than a 4" concrete block)
