Default SM A4 Skyhawk Video.

I was in two minds if I should upload this as I wasn't that enamoured with the footage. The cockpit needs more work to give it that real edge, I'll make proper canopy frames etc... to enhance it. 720p is available.

Well done Alex, some great footage, some nice scale features, gear doors could do with slowing down

I thought the same, the next model will have hydraulic gear with electric gear doors so that should cure it

Looking forward to seeing the next project. On my current project I have gone with all electric landing gear and doors. I had rigged up 2 systems, one hydraulic and the other electric to weigh up the pro's/con's and electric came out best for me. Having used electric gear for the last 18months in my UF hack it has so far proved to be spot on. The hydraulic set up worked equally well and may prove to be as reliable but is bulkier/heavier/messier and generally less convenient.....at least for my set up.

I do have a question on gear door actuation but will start another thread.

Rob.

Did you model a specific A-4 from the Argentinian Air Force(I believe the scheme is not Navy-Armada) with specific number and history or just the general scheme without details?

You flew it on low level bombing runs like those pilots did...

Great historic project

Thanks guys...

Hi Pedro, its an Argentinean Airforce scheme (aircraft C318) however the Skymaster model isn't an A4C so theres some artistic licence with the addition of an Avionics hump and a few other inaccuracies in the outline. I was after something different and with the 30year anniversary recently of the Falklands/Malvinas war I thought it apt.

Cheers, Alex
