LOTS OF SMOKE WITH HALF THE OIL!
Just installed the new "ultra spray smoke tube" from Tamjets and I am getting the same amount of smoke as before but using about half as much super dry smoke juice! On my last hornet I ran the Tamjets smoke pump at 100% to get TONS of smoke on the old smoke stick but now I can tune it down to less than 50%. I can't tell a difference on the density, in fact I was reminded to turn smoke off after a low pass before turning so I can see the jet....AHHHHH, I hate not being able to see my jet! Anyway, with smoke oil prices on the rise...I'm all about saving some smoke oil cash!
I also only used one stick on the F-18 going straight off the top of the turbine. Equal amounts of smoke came out of the pipes.

Just got bunch of smoke tube done.
Now is available.

Anyone use Sullivan Skywriter with these new sticks yet.
I have a Skywriter but not sure if I should get a JetCat / Evojet / or Powerbox pump because I think they can push more pressure.
Not sure if the Skywriter will have enough pressure to give a good spray instead of stream with these smoke sticks.
Can't get any info on what pressure the Skywriter can make. Have 36 oz's on board.

It has been a long time. How is the A4? Man that thing is pretty! I do a little flying at Tracy Skyliners just out of Tracy. I also do some flying with Tam at the Hollister field but it is only about 500 feet long I think. The Flash does fine but the A4 with the P60 likes to use the whole thing on take off.

Well time to put the P-100 in the Blue Angel A-4 and new smoke stick. Hollister no problem. Weather get warmer and free up some my busy weekend party. We should fly more often.

I installed my new Smoke stick in the Ultra Flash today. Smoke was excellent even with my crappy home made smoke oil. I have one more stick to install in my Hawk next.
Next week I will run Super Dri at the Coachella Monster Jet Jam. With the powerbox smoke pump I had good smoke at half speed. I am sure I will end up dropping the the max speed of the pump.

Russ, thanks man let's try to do some Nor Cal flying soon with all you Norcal guys. Tracy Skyliners - I think I've flown there before, it's the unused runway extension or something?
I've got a new external smoke tank setup for the A-4 - not quite finished yet but nearly done. With Tam's smoke pump. But I'd like to use the TJ smoke tube as I really don't have too much smoke, only about 20 ounces including smoke header tank and old school that was about 1.5 minutes flat out I think. If I could get 2 or 3 minutes that would be very good.

I think you will be fine with the 20 ounce. Here is how I put it in...I just bent the tube down after the turbine so the tip is in the center of the exhaust.

Installed mine last night... Just ran it... WOW!!!! Crazy smoke....
Shut er down and closed the garage.... Smoked out the entire block!!

Since I'm at. I pull out my draw there is smoke pumps that over the year from customers I upgrade service for new pump.
All these pump I go to re-built with new motor, new speed control, new gear and new O-ring. The only parts use is the aluminum body. Everything is brand new.
I will sale this rebuilt smoke pump with new ultra spray smoke tube for $165.00 each.

I like the look of your new smoke injector sticks, is there someone in the UK distributing them?

I'm guessing if I order it direct its an odd shape to pack or can it be bent and then straighted after its here.
I'm very restricted as to how much fluid I can carry in one of your F16 with a Wren 44 so more smoke from less fluid would be handy.
The "sticks" seem quite long are you mounting the nozzle near the cone or a ways down the tailpipe
Also looking at the pic there seems to be a small extension on the end, which way are you facing the nozzle
