RE: Jets Over Kentucky 2013
Thanks for the well wishes guy's . Hopefully she will get to come home tomorrow...have to see what the Doc has to say in the morning.
Marvin, enjoyed having dinner with you and the group on Thursday night. Keith's cooking is off the hook and a big thanks to Keith for feeding me.
Lowell, sorry I wasn't able to stick around and arrange that stick time on the F-4 that I offered. Maybe next time.
Terry, sorry to hear that about your wife. My next door neighbor is also suffering from this devastating disease. Really sad to see his health decline.

RE: Jets Over Kentucky 2013
I have been meaning to post.... I lost my fire extinguisher at the event.. I came up missing Wednesday and I looked every where for 4 days to no avail. I think someone must have grabbed it when the storm came in Wednesday and got it off the flight line.. It is a standard 5lb. CO2 extinguisher with the cone type nozzle on it. It does not have my name or ID written in it, but it has a stain on the top near the handle and the safety pin for the trigger is being held in check by a piece of blue heat shrink. If anyone has it or seen it please let me or Lewis know. My air pump came up missing at the same time, but it found it's way to the registration table and I got it back. I think a designated lost and found place should be established and announced for next year.. ( One for the suggestion box ) With this many people and so much equipment in one place it's easy to get things all mixed up..
Cheers,
Danno

Did Barry Hou ever find his multi charger? It came up missing after the storm. I believe he said it had a Kingtech logo on it.

I found several fire extinguishers, and run tanks. Brought them home and will take pictures of everything in a few days.
Ronnie I hope your wife is feeling better. Jose, I hope you're feeling better too.
Will do a wrap up of the event once my head has cleared enough (LOL)!

Jets Over Kentucky Week 2013 Wrap-Up.
Wow! What a great time we had at Jets Over Kentucky Week 2013! I was so tired, that I'm just now finding the strength to write anything. This was by far, our largest event ever! Our final pilot count was 192 registered pilots. Everything was great, and proceeded exactly to the plan. Our pilots were great, and made it very easy to manage an event. All AMA rules and guidelines were followed to the letter, as great pilots from all over the world displayed their talents. RC Ken will have the official DVD's of the event ready very soon, so don't hesitate, and order yours today. Contact Ken at[email protected]. The dates for 2014 are July 6th-13th. Make your reservations now to ensure you will have a room for the event. The air show will be Saturday only next year, so as to guarantee plenty of flying for everyone. The "Smackdown" and "Showdown" were great, but took too much time from guys who did not want to fly during that time. The airshow for
spectators will begin at noon, and conclude at three for both segments. This will still leave plenty of flying before the awards dinner. Flying all 10 days was spectacular, and I had a ton of fun. Planning for 2014 is complete, and I anticipate another spectacular Jets Over Kentucky Week.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers and contributors for helping to make this event our best. A hardy thanks to "Electro Bob Bellomini for taking my last minute calls for help with printing. Without the help from all of you, this event would not happen.
Our sponsors are the greatest...Make sure to support them always, for without them there would not be a Jets Over Kentucky Week.
I've already started work on "The Big Hawk", and should have it ready to fly very soon. The kit is excellent, and I can hardly wait to fly it.
Polo shirts that have to be mailed, will be sent out next week.
Award winners will be announced tomorrow.

Lewis,
I have edited the original post for you to reflect the actual dates for next year. Sorry for the inconvenience about not being able to edit your post. This was done in preparation to the migration of RCU to a new software platform this weekend.
