OK so I'm planning to go to the field tomorrow and see if she will be able to taxi and maybe even flight. There only one little problem I was not able to get the preferred program with taylerons and flaperons.i ended up with just regular elevators and flaperons I'm not sure if this is go for me most of my other jets like the f22 have the taylerons and elevators and flaps on separate chanel maybe somebody who have a experience with the spectrum 18ch will have a moment to explain the programming for me .

Ok so today was a good day I was able to taxi test the jet and all go good the jet tracks ok just little sensitive to stering ,I was not able to maiden the day just go so fast and the sun was so low most guys stay n the ground and maybe this turn to beter day because when I was pumping the fuel out from back to the fuel jug the center tank stayed 3/4 full the clunk was suspended up in the tank so this is next to fix before the next attempt to maiden ,the surfaces are changed to flaperons and tailerons and I have no idea if this will work just watched some videos on YouTube with f-35 and this is the full scale jet setup so maybe it will work for the model?

I use flaperons, and they help a lot on takeoff, full flaps! For landing I use half flaps, it slows down nicely. Expect unusually long takeoff rolls intiallly until you get comfortable with flaps and pulling up hard. It takes off like a nose heavy F-16.

The elevators are very effective, so I'm guessing they should work fine as tailerons.

Thanks for the info ,I'm so sorry for be annoying but this jet is the only one with so much problems I ever own and I'm just super paranoid to maiden before I have all the possible info about ,is your fuel tanks all in the cg area just like I changed ,and this help 100% for normal taxi when the center fuel cell was forward in front of the former just under the turbine the jet was just totally not stable on the ground ,with the mix I have programmed to the jet I have only one flaps position about 15mm and 3 position alierons about 15-20-25 mm and a lot for the elevators in tailerons mix maybe 45-65-80mm and the going even farther when high alierons ,will you please maybe post picture or confirm the fuel tanks position and the surfaces throw ,if you think I should changed back to regular flaperons and elevators mix I will do the ,I mostly fly my eurofighter rafale and super scorpion so this type of airframe is new to me ,once more time thanks for the help with the f-35 .

I have the tanks per the instructions. The center tank is front of the former and below the engine. When the model is full of fuel, it feels very nose heavy....but then in the air it handles fine. I lost a rudder on the last flight, so once I'm done working on my F-16 I'm repairing it so I can start flying it again.
When I get home I'll take pictures of my control throws so you can use as reference. Any other pics you need?

funny you've had a lot of issues with the nose gear and stability and that is one issue I never had. My main problem was adjusting the main gear scissor links so that the main wheels cleared the edge of the gear bay cut out and allow the wheel to fully tow in. I spent a lot of time doing that. At one time I considered putting the wheel on a drill on sanding it to wear it out so it would fit, it is so tight in there. I think the guys from DerJets are experiencing the same. Also my nose gear door kept deforming, so it would not conform to the fuselage very well, ended up glassing with carbon on the inside, and while still wet, taped it hard to the fuselage and heat it up. Now it's a perfect match.
And finally, changed all my air system to high flow and my fuel lines and hardware to large diameter. My Kevlar tanks were bulging up during fueling, so I had to do it.

So the nose gear door are no more problems the converted into two .on the main gear I have done same as you cut away all the fiberglass so the tires clears in with no problems. I'm just hoping that the fuel tanks change will not cost some problems but the in the cg and when full the cg don't change much just a little bit nose heavy but nothing like when the center cell was in the front of the former hope this will not cost the jet to be tail heavy or not stable.

It is very sensitive to rudders...it will roll with rudders more violently than with ailerons.

I have about the same on the flaps and a lot more on other surfaces specially for the elevators and a lot more than you on the ailerons and just a little bit more than you on the rudders. So I'm going change a little bit to match and have a 3 position with just a jump up for all flying surfaces. I just fixed the fuel plumbing problem the fuel pickup was microscopic on a big tygon fuel line .thanks for the pictures the are big help.
