I would love to get my hands on a george miller T-38 kit. I have a bob fiorenze T-38 built and flying and one kit in reserve. It is 7ft long, wings approx scale new kits can be bought with sports wing.. 18lbs wt flies on a Jet Mute 100. Awesome baby I am going vertical. Might try to come to T-38 Jet Rallye 2014 Oct. Please keep me in loop. I am assuming miller kits no longer sold (7 years ago post). Any info welcomed. Bill Guerrieri [email protected], 630-417-2836 Greenville SC resident BOD Joe Nall Thanks Bill

Will do! Not to turn this into a T-38 kit thread, but I noticed a Fiorenze one for sale in the ads, plus there's a nice Skymaster kit out there. Would love to see one in action in person.

All of the George Miller kits are owned by the same guy that bought all of the Byron stuff, John Craig....re-named Iron Bay. Don't think any of the jet kits are available.

For my old friends who remember the many attempts made to fly one of these when we had access to Reese Technology Center. Enjoy the fun/funny memories.

John Johnson is our CD for the event. Last I heard, it was set for early October 2014. The 3rd and 4th I think.

Our dates will be the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October. Many will start flying on Thursday late afternoon. Would live to see you come. Will have a flyer soon.

Thanks for checking in!
John

Check out www.wingsmas.org for more details and information. We are currently working on the T38 details and information under the T38 tab. Additional information on motels and so forth can be found under the West Texas Warbirds tab on the same website. Both events are hosted by the Wings Miniature Aircraft Society based in Lubbock, TX, but our club field is Abernathy, TX about 15 miles North of Lubbock. Check out the field information and videos under the West Texas Warbirds tab. The field information and motels, etc. are the same for both events.

Hope to see you guys at the events this year.

Regards, Les

We are currently setting this up on RCFlightdeck and will note here when it's up and running with a flyer. In the meantime, you can go to our club website and look around with pics of the rally and the field. With Twelve Turbine waiver members and over 25 planes, we are really trying to establish turbines in our area. Last year, the forecast said high winds and it turned out to be beautiful. Hope to see you there!

Ok gang, we are now setup for signing up on RCFlightDeck. Great program and a wonderful way to keep track of your clubs events. We don't have it set up to accept payment but you can register for our event directly. Thanks for your patience and looking forward to the flyin!

Hi Guys,
Haven't been to Lubbock/Abernathy in a while... Depending on schedule, I think I might try to make this event again. Good club, and a nice field, with improvements since I've last attended...

That's really great news. Looking forward to renewing old friendships with many of the Texas and OK guys. We've got our big Warbird meet this weekend and then full focused attention on the Jet Rally!
