Tuono NRG
I am really happy to have received photos of my Pirotti models Tunon NRG. Like many of you I guess. I have been familiar with the Tuono sport jet design for a few years now. However. At Jet power last year I saw the plug on the Pirotti models stand for what looked like a new sleeker, more streamlined version. I was hooked straight away. Mauro ( The designer and company owner) Took a bunch of time to talk me through all the changes he had made to the already proven design. Before I knew it money was changing hands and the order was placed.
One of the really cool things about Pirotti is that they can provide you a jet in pretty much any stage of completion. Their gloss paint work that I had seen to date was really top draw, and I have had an idea for a paint scheme adaptation in my head for quite some time. I was just worried that it may be a tad complex or too time consuming for Mauro to take on as a custom job. I need not be worried as nothing seemed like too much trouble for Mauro! Just yesterday the first photos of my new toy out of the paint shop started coming through via email. To say I am happy would be an understatement! Its superb... I now cant wait to get my hands on the real deal and start fitting it out.
There is a clear canopy and full cockpit in the works. Although I have to admit, I really like what he has done with the airbrushed mock up... It might end up staying
Regards Al

Thanks Geoff.
No idea on projected weight as yet. I will be sure to update as I find out more. I aim to have it ready by around May ( there are a few other projects in front of it as of now) Turbine... I am thinking a Kingtech 180 G will be the weapon of choice.
Tony!! Log time no speak mate. Your company and good witt has been missed. Even Raunds Thai is asking after you! Get your old ass round to Harlow house, we got lots and lots of projects on the bench that need your attention. Not to mention that your old mate Simon is missing you!
Regards Al

Tony.
We look forward to having you back. It deserves a sit down meal to mark the start of the 2013 season in proper style. The green goblin should be with us and ready to fit out by then. You can start on that. Or I am sure I will have a spinner to cut out, or better still a prop hub to be drilled
