Phil, just curious, did you fit the nose gear with the wheels on? If you just cut out the nose gear opening where the doors are, the nose gear won't go in. The doors need to be extended about 3/4" . Comp arf shows cutting two half rounds behind the doors to let the wheels clear, I cut the doors out longer, you can't see them between the inlets and it doesn't have any other extra holes that way.

I also see you haven't overcut the main gear openings to clear the wheels. If using the glennis wheels they will not fit through the retract cycle without having the overcut opening. Thisis mentioned the manuals well. I tried really hard to make them fit without doing this but they wouldn't. I believe the full size has the same cuts ln the main gear openings anyway.
Looks great, definitely the worst kit I have ever built but it sure turns into a magnificent airplane when done.

I have pre fitted the landing gear, nose leg clears, mains have been opened up as per the manual, no I am not fitting glennis wheels.
I agree with you it is by far the worst kit I have ever built, I am not going to go into details, it's all in the past and I really do not want to be reminded about it that's why this is only the painting and weathering thread.

Awesome job Phil. I am at the same stage with my Comp ARF Mig. Im just starting to apply decals then some weathering. Your colour scheme looks outstanding.
