Classic Jets #54
The ball's rolling and everything's beginning to come together for Friday...according to my Chief Met Advisor, the forecast is ok (hope that's not the kiss of death Jase), 350 slices of thick cut pig has just been delivered and a Sainsbury's raid is planned for this evening!
More important though, who's coming and with what?
Cheers,
Dick

Looking forward to Dave flying the GJC Mig 15. Will have one for myself if it goes well. I'm bringing CARF Viper plus FB Panther for Dick.

Mine's being worked on but, as usual, I keep having to divert to do other things. That said, I have got the engine, pod and jet pipe fitted and will be doing the elevator servos, horns and linkages tonight...doubt I'll do much more this week but at least it's started!
Cheers,
Dick

As I said earlier in this thread I will be at classic jets, if you have a damaged composite airframe that you would like to be repaired, whether its a wing or fuse or even a tip tank bring it along and I will access the damage and advise if it can be repaired.
You can see a couple of models i have repair on my repair section on my website one being Ali's camo Futura.
I have been trying to load some photos but for some reason it won't load even from photo bucket

Fabulous day, big thank you to Dick's merry team. A tonne of kero was burnt today!
Don't have many photos as I was busy flying all day, I guess I flew seven different aeroplanes today inc two maiden flights (would have been three if the turbine worked!)
Really busy...maybe a little too at times
Pity I miss the next one [:@] always a great event...

And some more of the day, of particular note a very nice J.L. Yak trainer presented, and flown by Mark Hinton, fit and finish to a very high standard. Alistair
