Somehow this is all reminding me of about ten years ago. Marilyn Manson was scheduled to perform in Calgary Alberta, I had tickets. The city decided to "ban" Marilyn Manson from Calgary. There was a huge uproar, tens of thousands rushed out and bought his records to see what the fuss was about. Some liked them, many hated them.
Manson, when questioned about how he felt about the concert cancellation, simply said, "I can't buy this kind of publicity".

Get it? All of this FEJ talk may discredit them to the wise that are already involved, but in the meantime, the threads are getting so much action that they plaster the home Page of RCU driving people who may have never heard of them to look. Those people will think they can fix the issues and proceed to buy jets because they want to see what all the fuss is about and want to try to prove the naysayers wrong.

My guess is FEJ knows this and that's why they don't care. There is no such thing as bad publicity sometimes.
All of this is a big banner ad for FEJ. Do I think they have acted accordingly in regard to all their problems? Not at all, do I think that all the threads are becoming counter productive? Probably.

hmm why is this thread covered with **** comments?

i think its nice to know what the REAL delivery time for FEJ kits is.

i just ordered a unpainted 1:4,5 F-16 and a painted 1:4,5 Hawk and paid them in the start of april, i was told 7-9 weeks, i hope i will get them within 12 weeks, if not i get a further 10% discount.


it would be nice if a moderator would clean this thread so it was constructive...

I have some builds coming up and according to the email from the factory, everything is on schedule as they said when the guys made their orders. The most recent order a guy made with them, he was telling me they offered him the formers in Aircraft Ply/CF Plate laminated OR HC with CF Plate Laminate (His choice). So, I guess they are listening...just not responding....probably in fear anything they might say will end up with a T-Shirt and Wrist band!

You just hit the nail on the head for the purpose of this thread. To serve as a point of info for those people with REAL money on the line. My original question was neither negative or positive. It simply asked for info that a certain part of this community could use. Positive info regarding FEJ delivery times would be welcome and could do FEJ some good. Or negative info regarding delivery times could also be posted. Either way let the evidence speak for itself & the community is served.

It's unfortunate that one person thinks, in his infinite awesomeness, that he has the right to shut down a thread which he has NO VESTED interest in! As mentioned before, he doesn't own a FEJ, has never ordered a FEJ, but wants to control the info that those who have put up there own hard earned cash have the right to disseminate.

Thanks for the info! My objective was and is, simply to make as much info available to the community to guide their decisions and protect their substantial investments.

I'll say it again: This thread was not posted as a negative attack! The answers to the original question would provide good info to assist folks who have already invested or are considering making an investment in these products. The answers would speak for themselves, as the answers were supposed to come only from people who actually have money on the line.

Eventually, the moderator will deal with those useless posts!

This issent just a fej issue. I hink its funny with thing in the rc airplane business... when you are told 4 week. You think. Ok thats about 8 weeks before they send your item... it always like that.

When i paid my jetcat p300 they 12 september. 2012 i was told 12 weeks. And i recieved the engine mid march 2013... abd i knew it when i bought it ;-)

I also ordered a kolm bx400 gasser and was told about 12 weeks. And after 100 weeks i gave up waiting...


I was rarely seen anything delivered within he promised timeframe... why is that. And why do we accept it?

Ok guys, I've had some conversations with David S about my closing this thread. Normally when a thread gets as far off topic as this is we will close it. But David made some valid points to me in our discussions and I have decided to go ahead and clean this thread up and open it back up. Let's please keep the discussion focused on the topic of the thread and leave all the silly pictures and stuff out of the thread.
