Being that the Boomer people in the know are being very quite in this thread a new Boomer is likely more than a rumor but may be still quite aways out.

New Boomer? could it be this? i saw Colin flying this at Classic jets 50 last year
Kind of looks like the PST Reaction.
Those pictures are a PST Reaction.
That's what I thought at first but it isn't. Here is a pic of a Reaction ARF.
I agree the pic's in post 6 is not a Reaction.

Patricia told me a couple of years ago that Alan was working on something "totally new" and unlike his other designs. Whether that translates to the marketplace is yet to be seen. I have my doubts, as there's been plenty of time for it to have arrived by now.

I love my Boomerang Elan. It has been the best jet I have owned great go to jet for everyday flying, I have over 270 flights on her. I just completely refinished it and gave it a new paint scheme over the winter, This jet has never let me down. Powered by a Jet central Rabbit 100.

Shepp,

I saw your post on the new boomerang thread. You said that you crashed your Boomer without the carbon wing tube. I have an Elan that I am finishing up it is one of the first generation of kits. What do you mean by not flying with the carbon wing tube. Was there and upgrade or something that needs to be done to the jet prior to flying it?

I'm pretty sure he means that he just forgot to put the carbon tube in and just put the wings on the aluminum anti rotation pins. If this is the case, I can see the wings making it about 1/2 a lap. 125 flights on my Ă©lan with no mods except hysol around the formers with no problems. I love this thing.

I did just what cyphur said, Put it together on the alignment pins, and without the wing tube( spar) Cyphur is almost correct on flight, just a little over half a lap, just began the inbound turn..lol My replacement Elan, sorry to say, caught the top of a tall tree that sprang from the ground and jumped into my flight path just last week. it is no more.
Ain't this hobby fun.
