The Sebart Avanti S is available!
Here is a quick description of the model.
http://www.ultimate-jets.net/collect...ebart-avanti-s
I had a chance to look at it at the last Jet Power and the quality of the build was impressive.
The flight speaks for itself...

Extract from our web site:
The Fuselage is made of an hybrid wood structure covered with a thin layup of gelcoated glass fiber composite skin.
The entire rear of the fuselage is layed up in carbon fiber. Protective tubes are set to pass the servo wires in the hot area.
The access to the equipment on this plane is very easy.
The wings are made of a very strong plywood/ balsa structure film covered.
The gear strategic ribs and supports are doubled with G20 glass fiber plates.
The wing tubes are two very strong carbon fiber rods.
The stabilizer and rudder are made with the same high quality principles. The elevator is featuring a thick trailing edge for improved aerobatics.
The langing gear is trailing link type, CNC machined form aluminium. It is designed for grass operations.
The nose gear comes with an aluminium servo bracket connected to the strut.
The main gear features large rubber tyres for easy grass operations.
The options required for this kit are:
120N class engine thrust tube or
200N class engine thrust tube
Thrust vectoring assembly
Integrated fuel/ air trap/ smoke tank
This model requires building experience as the flight control surfaces are not pre-hinged. Control horns also need to be glued.
The model was designed in Italy and is produced in China at the factory that works on all Sebart models to the same level of quality.
Delivery time is 10 weeks from down payment.
We are taking reservations now. The first production batch for the USA is already entirely sold out.

So don't buy one and don't bother posting..... This wing is probably stronger than any of the current Chinese arfs....

Film covering might require some maintenance from times to times but is not a big deal compared to the benefits for this type of plane.
This plane is going to become a reference in FAI F3S for this precise reason.
Besides I have carefully inspected one of the first production kit at Jet Power and I can guaranty you that the wings are properly designed and well executed.

1695 for just gear, that must be some epic gear considering comparable prolinks run for about half. Either way, hope you do well if it flies well ultimately that's what matters. Wished the plane had composite wings, it would have put it as a nice alternative to Carf UL, Super scorpion, BVM UB e.t.c. you can build wings as light or even lighter than wood/film just look at Krill Aircraft/Composite Arf.

Hi guys,
Test flew the Avanti this weekend, conditions were very gusty and OAT was around 40 degrees C. This plane feels different from the jets we are used to, its designed for F3A and 3D flying and lacks penetration. If using the thrust vectoring pipe, go with a 180N or the behotec 220N turbine. A 140N with the TV system will not give great verticals, at least in our temperatures. Had the I gyro in there but did not get a chance to test it as we had a PST F84 to test fly too.
Chatty.

I personally find the UF far better. Both are different, the UF has the speed and jet like feel. The Avanti more aerobatic at slow speeds.

back on topic:
Emailed Chief: they will stock these in there U.S. warehouse so for those interested they can get good delivery times and shipping. Chief has other sebart planes also.
the Balsa/Film covered wings make it a no for me, Would have gladly paid 1k more for fully composite, if the wings are fully sheeted they could be converted, similar to the tornada v3.

RE: The Sebart Avanti S is available!
I'm very interested to watch this progress. Not many pilots are as smooth as Seb and the 'roll and pull' (bank and yank) brigade will certainly put some strain on the wings. When I saw its wood wing I wondered whether he ever let a less "sympathetic" pilot fly a prototype model. I know how strong the Flash series are and I still flinch when I see the "stick stabber" pilots check the pitch control on one of those going full chat. I know this is a bigger draggy airframe, but with the turbines listed someone who misses the point is going to buy one and try and fly it fast...
Slow aerobatics...CARF Hawk. Slowest KE ever seen on a turbine model!!

Dave, I agree with you about the CARF Hawk in knife edge. Not as precise in a 4 point roll as a UF though. The Avanti might be a good blend at slower speeds. Time will tell on durability.
