Hi Ash Creek Flier,
on my tanks the ventline is in front of the tank, so i think Carlos changed that.
If you have enough space for the fuel line and doesn´t crack there is no Need for another nipple.
Here is a Video from one of the Airshows i attend this year
on this flight i lost my pyro technics after only a few shots where fired

I was wondering what that was.Your videos were the reason I went with this jet.Nice all around flight characteristics and a wide speed envelope.I forgot to ask what servo horn leangths did you end up with to achieve the recommended throws and still have full resolution of the servo.

I believe it is still epoxy glass the airex is just the composite core they sandwich between the glass. Not sure if its any lighter than the current composites they use but its more fire retardant and stronger from what I read about it.Not sure if it pans out for our model aircraft as I have never seen one first hand but they use this stuff in just about all high performance things that require less weight with out loosing the expense of streangth.

It allows you to use less glass and epoxy to achieve same "strength" as the regular method.of a glass epoxy layup. Disadvantages might be a little harder to layup as you most likely need a bagging setup. Whereas the glass+epoxy can be artfully done without. The airex might be a little more susceptible to concentrated point loads i.e denting with a finger (if really squeezed hard) compared to pure glass+epoxy. Probably also a little harder to repair. Overall great stuff, well proven.
