Has anyone built the 90mm Turbinator from Laser Design Services? The ad says it will take a 90mm fan or a P-20.

Just a little note. Stinger checked of my list for those who want to run it with a turbine. This is a perfect P20 candidate too. Engine far forward and lot's of space. 800cc fuel tank will give closer to 10min in this slippery ship. A true Habu 32 killer!!
Available from HAB or Ready2fly.

Yeah, I bet there will be allot more nice EPO planes in the future. It's just that not all are suited for turbine use or flying good enough to bother. With the very successful Yak-130 we might take on another twin too, just not sure which one.
this one is not for P20 though.

Parts missing
Henke
I have just got my second venom and the carbon kit for a P20. You say in your instructions to fit it to the turbine with the supplied bolts. I never had any in the kit of parts. Can you tell me what size a length they are??
Do you also have any pictures of the install, mainly the front for pump etc. Does anyone have the long fuel line that Jetcat say you need?
Many thanks

I have the 1100mm length fuel line that JetCat recommends, it was stated that the need for it was to stop pump pulses reaching the turbine, can't really comment as I have not used the P20 without the long fuel line.

Mines is in a Toki Duckty and an L39, so not the same installation.

M3 bolts are needed. I think 10mm are good. I have no clue if they are included or not.
Search for henke venom kolibri and you will find pics. Try on google too

Hey guys, I bought a Stinger to convert to P20 powered and Henke is supplying the pipe etc. In US motion RC carries this plane and their service is great. The quality of this Foamy is beyond believe for what you pay for. I made a mistake of buying the Kit and then ordering the servos. The cost came out higher than if I would have bought the P&P version plus I didn't get the fan and the speed controller. At this point I am waiting for all the parts to arrive and will give a report once it all goes together.

How is your P20 Stinger 90? Any pictures please?
Did you use the stock servos(!)? Many other quality ones fit in the space very well.

Is the CAD picture above what comes in your kit (minus the turbine of course)?
thanks

Hi Alex, I finished the plane in a week or so. As I mentioned in the other thread, I normally fly large planes like Futura etc.. and to be honest, this thing is the most fun. I used Henke's parts but used a 16OZ tank as I am planning to fly it off grass and wanted to keep the weight down. It has come out to 5.5Lb with the small GRC UAT full. a 2700 MA a123 battery and one 2100 MA lipo It flies really good. not an speed demon but not too slow either. I am using the original servos. One tip, I bought the kit and then installed the servos, etc. which cost me more than if I would have bought the ready to fly and would have taken the fan out. Next step for me is to add a JR gyro to the airlon to see how much better it gets. I also designed a break for the nose wheel that works pretty good. So, if you are looking for something like this, for it as you will have a blast. I don't go to the field without it. A couple of weeks ago we went to a jet event and between the flights with large Futura and when the flight line was crazy, I just flew this one and the complements all were towards the foamy and not the XXXDollar planes.
