Hi Dustin,

If you have the ailerons in 2 different channels at your reciver how do you use your 370a? or do you have only in one aileron as Dan suggested?

Thank you,

I have been using the Demon Cortex since earlier this year it has 5 Input/Outputs and is super easy to setup. It learns your radio setup during the programming phase.

Example setup in a Bobcat. You can stabilize ALL flight surfaces and the nose gear and still use crow on the ailerons.

Futaba users can use the built in gyro function to set your gyro rates.

I started using a gyro in my 2nd jet I ever owned. On the just the nose gear. I will NEVER have a jet that doesn't have a gyro on the nose wheel.

I've dabbled on other surfaces. And I loved those as well. I haven't become religious about putting gyros on other surfaces but they can really help.

I had gyros in a small f-14 that I had, (aileron and elevator) and it really helped tame it with the wings swept. (R.I.P little tomkitty)

I've had that same little f-86 and I almost put a gyro on the rudder. I just lived with dutch roll. It would freak me out the most on final but quickly dissipated.

Thank you,

use two 370a gyros if you must keep two channels. I have this on my bobcat. Just y the gains together.

Are the 3 axis systems out there equivalent? There seems to be quite a difference between the Bluelight, Eagletree, iGyro, and Demon Cortex?

Thanks Bob. There just seems to be such a range of prices. Certainly I wouldn't want to go cheap but I'm curious about the differences.

I have been using the cortex on 2 of my buddys planes and now on my BVM f86. It works great. When you turn it off you really feel and see the difference . Vary impressed . Dan

Bob I have been using the same switch as the landing gear channel for years to adjust the gain on my gyros. Because my gear are on a DG channel (futaba) on the saber I used a mix from flap to gyro. Gear up about 25% gear down 35% Thanks Dan

Bob - you mentioned yours is on a bobcat. I'd have expected some difficulty with all the dual surfaces. Good to know it wasn't.
