My understanding is Krill was the original manufacturer of the Avanti S. Seba for unknown reasons decided on a new factory in China (not Skymaster) for the Avanti S. I have received two of the S models from the factory in China. The product IMO is far better than most I have viewed/built/sold in the past. As I previously stated, it is doubtful anyone will be disappointed. Three sold in the USA does not make success, but these buyers are very well satisfied with everything.
Regards,
Eric

Hi,
today, Seba with me just test flight the Avanti XXL (2.8M), the dry weight is 18.5kg, powered by K-170, I was very surprised that Avanti XXL flight performance, and I have decided to cancel the Ultra Dragon. My final decision was made after I test fly the Sebart Avanti XXL. This jet is the best sport jet ever produced. It is far better than my own design of Ultra Dragon. the maiden video coming soon,
Rgds

Me 2 I'm more into scale but when I saw the small one doing 3d stuff it made me want one. I fly large 3d gasers as well and since I can go fast and do 3d it works for me. I opted out of the small due to the covered wings but this one is all composite plus the size is perfectico!!!! I'm ordering on after the first of the year hopefully.

All production and QC will be done at Skymaster. The Avanti XXL 2.8M was a joint effort between Seba and Anton.
The quality and lay-up are superb.... Here are a couple of pics.

A 2.8 Meter is going to need a 200N minimum, I have tried these big planes with a 180N size turbine and while they fly, the overall performance is not thrilling. Honestly Anything over 2.5M wing span needs a 200N + turbine.
Its going to be a P200 or better for this one folks, your 180's aren't going to cut it.
Its too bad I already have my P240 inside a Jacknife, but after hearing anton canceling the ultra dragon to make this, I'm all in for this one, especially the 5k price (although I would like to see an electric gear option)

Disco, it depends on the weight a kingteck 180 may work fine, may not just have to wait and see.
The add says 40lbs dry, but I always come in at lower weights with my builds. I dont plan on hovering a 10k jet like i my gassers i just want the nice slow thrust vectoring stuff. The weight will need to be kept as low as possible with the smaller turbines for sure. I think 40+lbs would be more than what I need for my flying stuff but thats just me. Some are not happy unless they peal the paint off.

I have a Kt 180 on my UL, while is nice and all that plane comes out at around 51 lbs fueled (6.2 Liters) and flat and level I get 175 MPH, with 199 out of a shallow dive. That plane is 2.46M and its the bare minimum I would have on it.
I can't see a plane with an additional .4M added to the wing span and a larger fuse (more drag) being all that much fun on a mere 180N turbine, top speed level would probably be 150 ish (not bad, but not that great for a sport jet). So yes, I'm sure the 180s will work just fine, just won't be as fun as a 200N
If KT finally releases the K-200 (46lbs) then that would be a good fit for it, other options are: JB 220, P200 or P240, IQ-H200

The Futura (similar style, size and weight) flies very well on a 160 and excellently on a 180. On a 200 it's unlimited all round.
I would say a 180 would fly it very well (it's not about top speed) but the modern 200N engines in 160 size can is the perfect engine. If you want to hover and punch out it probably needs the likes of the BF300!!
