Hi Kirk,
Just reading through this threat I bumped into your pictures of a scheme I just love! Have been looking on the net to find some more information on this paint scheme, but I seem to be looking in the wrong places. Could you help me with some information. I am looking for the nomenclature used and of course stuff you were already asking for, reference to the colors.
Thanks,
Donald

Hi Donald. I haven't found much on this scheme layout. I did find that the scheme uses orange instead of red like the photos of the plastic model. I haven't found a good source for nomenclature used on the US Navy/Marine TV-2 but Ralle does sell a set for the T-33, which I would use if I can't find nomenclature for a TV-2.

I know it's not much, but this is what I've found on the web so far:

I haven't updated this thread in a while so here's some progress that was made before work starting getting more of my time. Currently, I putting together the Air-C-Race L-29 Delphin. When the L-29 is done, I'll get back on the T-33.
I put a whole bunch of screws on the fuse. The side vents near the intakes have been opened up and the fuse has been primed, sanded and about 1/2 of the filler work is complete. There's a photo of the T-33 fuse next the L-29 fuse. Both fairly large airframes.

Thanks Kirk, that's a lot more than I found! Strange how difficult it is to find info if you concider how many of them have flown and how much this aircraft is appreciated. I purchased the gear for a Skymaster kit for a killer price, the plane I'll pickup at the Jetpower show, so a next winter project. I'll give Ralle a call and see if he has some aditional information, besides being a wonderboy in painting models he has an unbelievable archive on all types of aircraft, so let's see. Again thanks and I'll share information as soon if I'll get some. Regards, Donald
