Thanks for checking Harley. She didn't happen to say when they are expecting their next shipment, did she?

BVM does sell the landing gear units without the struts.
If you are ordering a set for the KC, don't forget to order the nose gear strut.

I had a Kingcat for 10 years, great airframe, but one day you have to move on, I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I have.

What do you think about using these servos on all flying surfaces.

Can you apply vinyl graphics to the airframe if desired? I am thinking of one of these as my first ever jet that is for sale local with a Jet Central Cheetah SP on it. I admit I am a complete turbine newbie and know nothing about them!

You don't want to applying stickers to a KingCat do you???? lol

Seriously tho; the flight evelope on the KingCat is really hard to imagine. It can be really slowed down (not especially easy) or it can go like h*ll.

That said it's not especially easy to fly although it is what I started turbine flying with as I'd always liked the model. Since then, there are quite a number of models that are easier to fly and cost a chunk less money. So for a newbie I think I'd suggest something a bit easier and more importantly cheaper, model to start with as it might wind up in a pile.

If you have some good experienced turbine guys about to help you and you're dead set on the KingCat, then I'd say go for it!

As to rcpete347's comment about "time to move on", a lot of guys I know who've sold their KingCats later regret doing so....

I still have mine

Grumman used to run an add in Aviation Week about the F-14 that kind of reminds me of the KingCat..

"Some airplanes fly slower.. Some airplanes fly faster.. None can do both."

The KingCat is one of the nicest flying airplanes ever made. Speed range is enormous, and it can be slowed down to a crawl. Seriously.. I've flown them with everything from a P-120 to a P-200 (dialed down), and it just takes it in stride. I have to believe a 140 class engine is the perfect choice for this airplane.

There's nothing low-tech or old-tech about it.. It, like BV's Bandit, is an icon in the sport jet world.

Well I hope to fly mine within a month or so, it was pretty much ready to go.... I really like the hi-vis navy scheme as well.

I have some experienced guys to help, thank goodness. I am very happy so far with my first turbine.

Would anyone be interested in a good deal on bombs and pylons? New in package.

My Kingcat refurb is coming along nicely. Going to try the Powerbox Mercury with integral gyro. That with the little 36lb thrust cheetah should make a NICE ride😎

Thanks AV8ATOR. I just watched a buddy flying his. The KC can still hang with the best of them. Very fast, super crisp on rails flight & amazing slow flight... then there is the ease of transport
