Change sucks but its good for the future. Just need to get used to it. If you make the change way different, then you will frustrate the users and they will leave. Change needs to be done in segments. Atleast the top 15 posts finally started to show. That is the only reason I come to this site, for the Drama. LOL

That is what I read a few days ago the first time I overcame the difficulties to sign back in. I waited a couple days, managed to sign on again (my desire to stay signed on had no effect} and find I have the same question. "Why should I
spend otherwise useful time "getting used" to something when there are excellent options that require no such expenditure of time?
Perhaps I'll take a look in a few days and see if it seems worth the trouble.

I am sadly disappointed in RCU, its a shame someone did this to an otherwise "ok" site. But the best thing about the new site is........... The RCU Shot Of The Moment.......... still hasn't changed! it feels comforting to know every time I have to re-log in that that foamy will be waiting for me.

It takes time to adapt to anything new.. Sure there have been a few teething problems but I think the majority of us have no concept of the magnitude of this changeover.
Personally I think its a good thing.. the new site looks "cleaner" and I prefer the way it now displays youtube videos.
Good Job RCU staff and thank you.

That and the imbedded pictures is the only thing that seems to be an improvement.......LOL
However, the pictures take a loooooooooonnnnnnnnng time to load when viewing the first time, Why is that?

I think it is a crock of!!!!!!!!! you never know if your logged in or what you are going to get next! Most of the time you are not allowed on the thread. Just trying to read this place or find a thread is next to impossible. O well I had some problems with the other setup until the last and it was working good then.

I think I may have jumped the gun. Seems my login is timed, and I have to go through the same hoops as everyone else to get logged back in. Once I do, it seems ok.... and that's a big “seem"...

At least you guys were able to get on here and complain. I had tried all kinds of things to be able to post. Log out here, but can't. Log out here and not there. Log out from home page, close browser, rinse and repeat. Clear histories, etc. I don't even know if this will post.
Well here we go and........send

I don't much care for this all white screen either but will adapt.
I also want my scores back as it took a long time in helping several people to even get a score. I know it seems stupid but I feel like I lost something.

It needs some tweeking. The fonts for the thread title and the author are to similar and they need to be different colors. Lots of little things like that can really add up and make a difference. I hope they are able to restore the useability soon.
This reminds me of the time my grocery store decided to remodel. They completely rearranged the store. So I left. I started going to another grocery. Why? Well, If they were going to force me to learn the store all over, I might as well learn a NEW store. One that had a better selection. That's the risk you take when you rearrange a grocery store. And that's the risk you take when you remove the visual cues that separated your website from the others. If people are going to be forced to adjust, they might decide to adjust to another website.

I grew up with this one.. Whinging Poms...
Seems a lot of the whinging is now coming from another country.

I still can't figure out Today's Posts. I used to get 30 to 50 of the posts I want now I get 300 or so of all posts. How do I select just the posts I want. I have written in twice already but no reply

I discovered the Administrators have been working diligently solving the bugs. I can now sign out and sign back in, something I could not do a few days ago. I can even find my way around a little bit now. Easier the more I use the new forum software. Said the site was not available earlier, but it is back up and running now.

I have a thought. If the change over to this new look and software is because the company owns v bulletin..... then its probably because its cheaper than keeping with the other software. I dont know what it costs to purchase the license to the better forum software, but I would be willing to contribute to buying it, rather than have any more time an effort invested in making this permanent. The more time they spend working on this new software the less willing they will be to go back.

Hello:
Really I don't like, there are problems for to see the photos, only can return to main page on the top of this post, before was down too and now not.
in the main page not is easy to see the different post, I think you must change the colors or fonts, I think.
Regards from Spain.
Carlos.

What it needs is reverting back to the old format whilst the bugs are sorted properly in this version. They need to stop using the poor buggers who come on here as unpaid guinea pigs fault-finding their errors and sort out the basics like the login issues and these bloody subscription e-mails!
This is now beyond pathetic, its just plain amateur hour
