Thank you, gentlemen! Part of the bow section of the fuselage and wing panel.
I hope to make the fuselage weight not exceeding 18 pounds.

Preparations are being made to the assembly. Kit contains many items, so you need to very carefully to ensure their positioning.
The length of the main section of the fuselage of approximately 8 feet.

Assembled frame structure stabilizer, the build of the forward fuselage. Ready to build the aft fuselage. The tail part is a bit like the tail of a B-29. Weight set the bow - about two pounds.

I apologize for the long silence. I was distracted by different concerns for a long time.
Now I can go back to work on the model. Last week vykleil turbine inlet. This larger tube approximately three feet in length and 4 inch diameter. Use 2 layers of fiberglass. Turned half a pound each. The next stage is planned to install them in place and production input of the inlet.

Maybe in the spring. In this model, there are some places not well defined. Troubleshooting will take some time.
Perhaps we will be offering short sets, napilennye of plywood and a set of diagrams for assembly. Some difficulties is the main steering gear landing gear legs.
Production of the first samples also revealed some problems that need to be addressed. I'll write about it later.

Great project.
It is good to see someone cutting wood and building a jet from scratch. A rare achievement.

What is your target weight (without fuel)?

Do you intend to use two turbines with 100N thrust each? What make of turbines?

But in the British Isles have Mick Reeves! We all learn from him! :-)
I guess the dry weight of 20-24kg (45-55 lbs) Plus 7 quarts of fuel. Turbines - two of 100 N.
Now the skeleton model in the way that the photo weighs about 11 pounds.

Good day to all!
We finish trim the top of the left half of the wing and begin to assemble the right half. Console will be held at the carboxylic pipes 1 1/4 inches. Before final assembly customize the root rib and the wing center section. The aircraft is gradually taking its shape ...

Hallo zusammen!
