Mike

Really like the look of that Viper, the green and yellow scheme suit it really well too.

Yes. I like that color scheme. It showed up very well during the cloudy days at Jet Power. Mike

Hi , its really good looking plane , do you think , what s the weight of the kit or the model (without smoke tanks&pump maybe even no gear doors&cyclinders) , i m just asking this to keep plane lighter and use k140
Thanks

Will get you the weight info shortly. Flying with a 140 size engine with fully installed gear and door is more than adequate. It's designed around 120-180, although two of our test jets are equipped with 190. They are mainly for stress test.

Hi,
Just for your info, I am flying the Tomahawk Viper 2.5 with a Jetcat P140; dry weight 15.8 kg and enough power to fly all figure. No smoke.
The GJC Viper should fly the same with your K140.

I'm not aware that Turkey has a California place called Beijing? If you are local, we are putting together a Viper here and should fly soon. You can come over and watch it fly. 140 is more than adequate. Have funn.

Here is some info of the 2.5 Viper. A 140 at 31lbs would fly with no problem but as we all know we always want more power. Hope this info helps.

That's cool. Where do you fly in Beijing? I was there last week.

If you like, you can also order this Viper jet from our China office. Please contact Mandy or Jose at [email protected] We offer free shipping within China. Please mention that at your email. Thanks,

Mike

In Beijing , from last year 25 people we came together and rent a farm land from farmer close to south 6th ring road, we flaten 350m x 30m land , around is empty too, right now its flat enough and we put grass, we ll see ,, also other field south beijing 400m x 20m concreate, sometimes we go there too , both fields have own specialty , one is concreate but its only take off field , nothing else,, our place is we have restaurant, place to store planes and electric , water ... just no nice concreate to fly
i m using same local shop since 10 years to order and build my planes, so yesterday already called them to order my new plane, they taken care ordering planes than building for me , i only care the flying part but if any chance next time i can try yours. Thanks again , if you come beijing by chance i m always here , flying real ones and model ones almost every weekend due to weather

That's nice just go fly. Next time I go to Beijing I will contact you first and go check out your fields. I can ship some jets there and send my ground crew there to get my jets ready so we can fly together. When you got chance to come down to Qingdao, come fly with us. We have access to local helicopter field or sometimes we fly off Golden Sand beach. I love flying low over water. I heard that China Sport authoriuty now have a new jet category for competition maybe we should participate. By they way isn't Beijing too smoggy? I was having hardtime seeing small objects in the sky there.

Our Viper should be done this week. I was really impressed with the quality and fit of the entire kit. Thanks Mike. I beleive this is a winner!! 140 would be fine but had a 170KT laying around so it's going in. I can't wait to get it up and flying.
Thanks,
Lowell

Yes. It's hard to see anything in the air there. They make our jets stealthy. No F22 needed, no smoke needed either. I will let you know when we have a small jet together. We got blue sky. I found this guy in Qingdao. I told him to make his carrier bigger for us and host the first aircraft based jet rally In the world. You would be welcome to be the first guy flying Rc jets off carrier deck, maverick. Mike

Hi to all , last saturday did my first flight with my fb big viper , first,, plane is 2.6m wing , at least mine :-) all batteries inside the nose beside landing gear than i added 400gr weight to keep nose little heavier than usual , Dry weight end up 16.5kg ,, servos are futaba 9156,rudder and flaps savox 1256,, installed K140 ,, plane is beyond my expectations , on grass field it took off only in 100-120m with a nice speed , flew fast enough and slow too , landing was great , , it was slow and very short distance , no strange suprise happend, take off- flight- landing all good , ,

Have over a dozen flights on mine now and what a great flyer! I did put the KT170 in it but fly at 1/2 throttle. It does it all. Put lights and smoke on it and it is such a pleasure to fly. Great slow landings and easy flight envelope. Love it!!
Thanks again Mike!
