Yay! Solved it. I compared the SD card to what Jeti's site says it should have. Mine was missing the "voice" folder but has a lot of corrupted files dated 1986! I copied the "voice" folder from jeti to my SD card and now the announcements work again. The emergency shut down must have exploded and corrupted the original voice folder. Think I will copy all the other folders too just in case anything in them got corrupted.
Problem sorted, thank goodness.

Thank you. At least it's a start. I appreciate it.

(Sorry I tried to quote Jeti USA but it didn't show up).

Can someone please tell me what size screws are on the back of the DC-16. I pride myself in having every single driver on the planet but I can't find the right size to take the back plate off.

Pepperpete, I am not sure of the size but your transmitter should have come with the correct wrench in with the little baggie that came with it.
I know because i overlooked mine too. lol

Unfortunately I lost that little baggy in a move from BC to Alberta. Hopefully someone knows as it's a very bizarre size!

It's a small TORX screw so you can buy either a set of TORX screwdrivers (kind of surprised you don't own a set already Pete) or, you can simply use a jewelers slot screwdriver and jam it into the opposing notches in the screw (like I did when I was at the field and didn't have my drivers).

Thanks Jim. I have a fairly large amount of torx but just not this size. I bet I just misplaced it. Should be easy to buy. Thanks again!

Now that I have got voice announcements working again, any idea how to make it announce all 4 antennae? The desktop shows the values of A1 to A4 but voice announce only speaks A1 and A2.

It only announces A1 and A2. FW change request has been submitted.

Thanks Jim.
With the MGPS sensor plugged in to the Rx it shows in jetibox emulator but not in device manager. Is that correct or should it show in device manager too?

Well this is total bunk. My 1500 dollar radio cant be used for the most basic function there is because those little cables that Jeti linked me to cant be shipped to the USA or CAN due to some type of legislation. Im pretty bumbed out about this.

Slowly all sensors are moving towards Device Manager, but some of them will need new hardware. At this time you can communicate directly only with new generation devices like Central Boxes, MVario2, MFlow, Max BEC 2D, Main Switch 100/200.....

The Hornet device feels expensive when Xicoy does it for just 35 euros

Yes it is but I have two Behotec 180 Gold, an investment that I was contemplating to sell to have telemetry on my turbines. After one year waiting, it is not much compared to the loss I would have had selling the Behotec and buying new ones.
Xicoy is bigger this seems like small outfit.

I still have to look at the version they support with their product, this is not done yet but I am glad the demand was big enough for someone to respond to it.

One of my friend is also pestering me to sell him one of my Behotec since he wants to match his 180 Gold that we bought together to put it in one of his latest project a nice twin turbine SU 27 with hydraulics and all. I might just give in to see that model fly.

The Jeti Radio will not work with FPV head tracker units if you live in Canada or the USA. Which is mind blowing that a company with a reputation like Jeti would neglect to make sure this is doable. I ordered the cable that JetiUSA said I would need only to have Espirt cancel the order and tell me that they cannot be used in Canada or the United States.

I fly everything from Jets, Heli's, Quads etc etc and FPV is a massive growing market. Our club up here went from all plankers to FPV plankers in this single year alone. And Jeti is telling me I have to buy a completely different radio just to use a head tracking unit that is compatible with EVERY SINGLE OTHER BRAND except for Jeti? I think I have a right to be upset about this. Does anyone have any suggestions???

Why not use your common sense? Just get that cable from some other place.

This is not Jeti issue, but your government problem. Everybody accept CE certification, Canada needs more.
Also regulations are not stupid, they keep people like you from killing themselves. I guess you like your car and safe air travel, also fully functional cellphone and working 2.4GHz radio is not that bad.

Jeti USA I do appreciate what you are saying. I've edited this post because I over reacted a bit.

Pete,

Nobody is forcing you to do anything. I sent you a PM to call me so I could give you a hand with a solution to this and to explain some of the how's and why's. You claim to have asked for suggestions but you seem far more interested in getting upset than in finding a solution.

Jim

Jim you are right. I did over react and I have edited my above post. I think I was just surprised that there was something this radio couldn't do which was the complete opposite of my experience before. Regardless I have been able to solve the issue on the outside thanks to some help from people on here.

I am setting up data logging. Can't find an option for antenna readings to be logged, is that correct?

Antenna readings can be logged. Not sure why they aren't appearing in your list. Try refreshing.
