I have got throttle trim working on just one press/bleep of the throttle trim buttons. Leave trim as the default style for throttle which is low, not centred. Make trim step 100% (that still leaves two clicks of trim, one from -100 to 0 and one from 0 to +100%) and then change the negative trim travel value from -100 to 0%. Now there is just one press from full down to full up trim, and vice versa. I also reduce the +ve trim travel value a bit as well so that it doesn't eat up so much of the normal travel affected by the stick.

What a pity the CB400 doesn't have freely assignable gyro assist built in like Weatronics and some powerboxes have.

It will have better, you can plug in the Jeti Assist stabilization to one of the ports. This way you can add stabilization to Any central Box or receiver and still have ports for telemetry as well as wireless Device Manager gyro programming.

Is that system equal with the Cortex/iGyro? Or just assist like beginner type device like the AX3?

HI all, I had the cross trim set up and it was great, now they are gone??, need to find the video to set it up again, because the manual is set up for people who already now how to use the TX. the videos are great, but really hard to find as they are in no order. One would think, it would not be to hard to file them in order on the dealers site.
Thanks in advance.

I've never tried this but is it not as simple as going into the Fine Tuning, Digital Trim menu, clicking on each channel and swapping elevator with throttle and Aileron with Rudder, assuming mode 2? You would also need to make sure the Mode setting for each trim is correct, Thro-Low or Thr-Lo50% vs Centered for Throttle. While you are in there, check the trim step size too.

Hope this helps

HI all, working on (Sound on Events ), the best I can do is give each switch a number. On the video, James says their are several pages of files, I can only access one page, with very simple numbers, how do you access those other pages.

Pete, when you scroll down the page of sounds, at the bottom there is a blank space with arrow heads that point to the right. Click on that space and it takes you to the next page.

I was at mississippi afterburner last weekend and they had the Weatronics radios there. Is there any way to do the throttle brake setup on the JetI like they have? I really like it!

they have it so that the throttle and brake are on the same stick. From 0-1/3 throttle is brakes which is spring loaded, then from 1/3 to full throttle its regular

So is the throttle stick spring loaded to the 1/3 throttle position? Do you pull back on the throttle to engage the brakes and move it forward to increase the throttle? Can the brake spring be easily disengaged, like between flights? I also fly a lot of giant scale aerobatics planes and if the throttle stick was always like that, I wouldn't like it at all.

Since this sounds like a mechanical solution (spring loaded to 1/3 stick position) I'd say this isn't something that could easily be added to the Jeti unless of course I'm misunderstanding the feature..

You're right. It would be for primarily jets but the radio was able to be configured like normal of course. The bottom 1/3 of the throttle was spring loaded. If you held the throttle all of the way down and let go of it then it would go up to 1/3 stick. From 1/3 up it was like a normal throttle. It seems this would be VERY natural for jets. No digging for an extra switch etc. Cut your throttle on landing and start applying down throttle/brake for stopping. Lol almost play stationish lol

Why not to use the on-board accelerometers and gyros, you land you model tilt radio toward you to apply breaks.
It's fully proportional function, also you can assign voice to it.

I would not recommend using the accels for active control. they are hard to get proportional control right unless its an off/on function.. we tried using it for brakes.. it was hard to use.. I use the accel's for initiating voice commands..

I use the right slider for brakes.. Im steering with the left hand, so Im braking with the right hand.. Then I have a proportional mix on the down elevator with an offset, so I get about 50% braking with half movement down elevator.. its very smooth and won't lift the butt..

This radio rocks..

I just ordered one. Got switches, a case, and the switch tool. Hope you guys have not led me astray! It was the last of the 14's in stock, I moved fast before they were out.
