Not with my Jeti but I have had one issue in the past using JR 8411 servo's on life's, I suddenly lost tail control, there was not enough left to troubleshoot but I suspect that was the problem.
Been using Savox ever since with zero issues.

Hi all,
Many thanks for the replies re regulators,
I was using the regulator because originally i was using LI-PO batteries but have now switched to LI-FE batteries,
I was aware that the RC switch failed to on,when i had the problem removing the RC switch made no difference,
David the RC switch was plugged into the lead provided on the regulator, not into the CB 200 (was that incorrect ?)
For the system to switch off i would need to confirm that on the TX ,i have voice warnings programmed when i switch off ,that just did not happen,
I have tried to duplicate the problem re the system switching off without success so i still don't know why it happened,i suppose i could have a faulty regulator,
Anyway i will move on and take your advice and remove the regulator ,
Thank you all for taking the time to reply
regards Ray

Ray... Since you are now using LiFe batteries you don't need the regulator. Also the RC switch needs to be plugged into the switch port on CB200...

Enjoy...

Now if I could just get my voice modulation and logical switches update to add itself to my TX. I have spent so much time moving files around, unzipping, emailing Jeti, getting a new download. My TX even updates after moving the files, but it does not add them to the radio. Planning to ask for a refund on those functions.

It shows 0 logical switches, and there is no check by voice modulation. It updates the TX, and displays the installed modules screen right after boot up, but those items will not add. I was able to get my channels expanded up to 14. I added the new activation bin download they sent me, to the root file, but they just do not add. I have moved those files into every directory, with no luck.

I had one issue that you guys may have talked about here on the thread already but it was with retract servos from jr ,,worked them on the matchmaker worked perfect ,,plugged them into rec and no power to servo at all not a buz . So ive had this happen before on a jr radio i grabbed a spectrum signal booster wire and plugged into rec servos came on problem solved ..cant explain exactly why servos needed that but it works and this may occur again on other servos just letting you guys know its a 9 dollar fix to a wierd problem

Central Box 200 & Switching Regulators

I just talk to Jeti guys to get confirmation. You can use TWO switching regulators with Central Box 200. Only limitation is that you have to connect them via Multiplex power connectors. Jeti Box 200 is capable managing loads and will protect regulators from self destruction.

Also just purchased a DS-16, this one will control my Pirotti Rebel

Receiver will be a R18 (now a R14), power supply are 2x a 2S Lipo 2200mAh regulated to 6.0V by a Jeti Max Bec 2D.
Also installed a Jeti MGPS connected to a E4 expander because I also have installed the Xicoy turbine telemetry sensor.

Thinking of installing also a airspeed sensor which is still lying around here.
Also a gyro (think the Bavarian Cortex which is on the shelf) will be installed to test.

Great transmitter I have to say, I really like to programming and the possibility's so far, enough to explore I guess in the future.

I have made my own audio files, have a few more which I want to do:

Guys,
I'm using a Powerbox Sensor switch (2x regulated 5.9V outputs) with 2x 7.4V LiPo's connected to it. The Sensor switch outlets plug straight into my CB200 (multiplex connectors). Everything works as advertised!
Enjoy!

Just for your information you can always find ALL .bin files for Jeti devices on our web site. We just added REX 6-12 and tomorrow I will have bin file for Central Box 400.

For some people who do not know, transmitter needs to have .bin file of the devise otherwise can display data or communicate with it.
Always copy all the file to the Device Folder of your transmitter.

I have asked for a refund of my logical switch and voice modulation upgrade. I have not been able to get it to upgrade my TX for weeks. I have extracted the files and moved them into every folder that exists. I have ejected the device before turning off the TX. I figure I must be getting a bad file or something. Regardless, I do not want to pay for something that does not work.

The channel expansion file did work, so I have 14 channels. So it is not just me. I got that one to work. A clear flow chart of the steps for these upgrades would be nice.

Hey guys can someone please tell me how to assign a 3 position switch and have it work like a three position switch? Bottom/Middle/Top or 0/50/100? When I assign any of the 3 pole switches all I can get it to do is turn on or off. Or Off (Bottom Position)/On (Middle)/Off (Top Position). I'm really stumped on this one. Sorry if this has been covered but we all know how the RC Universe Search Engine Works (it doesn't). Thanks for the help!

*Edit* Looks like I figured it out.

I see that you did figure this out already but I figured I'd post so the next guys see an actual answer.

First of all, what you are asking for isn't strictly acting like a 3 position switch. Values of 0/50/100 would generally correspond to "servo centered"/ "servo 3/4 travel"/"servo full travel". Values of -100/0/100 correspond to "servo full left"/"servo centered"/"servo full right". However, if you really do want values of 0/50/100 assigned to a 3 position switch, simply go to the switch select menu, toggle the switch. If toggling the switch prduces a check mark, press the Prop. button. If pressing the Prop button provides values of -100/0/100, press the Centr button to get values of 0/50/100. IF you want values of 100/50/0, press the Rev. button.

Switch assignment at first can seem a bit strange but by trying the varios buttons and observing the change in behavior you can quickly make sense of them.

Thanks Wayne,

Yup that's exactly how I figured out what to do. It's amazing the versatility this radio has. A bit of a learning curve but worth it.

Wayne... Great job explaining switch position and selection....

Thanks

This so cool Central Box 400 is working in series with Central Box 100. Now we can have multiple small CB100 in the Wings or Tail and connect them with single power and signal lead, the rest of the model can be operated from CB400. Different Voltage Outputs, Redundancy, Power Consumption, Servo Pin Protections all built in one box.

With Jeti system you can mix anything with anything, you can set up different output voltages, different servo assignments and tons of other stuff directly from Transmitter. All devices are connected via EX Bus and they all do communicate wirelessly.

Hi Wayne, thanks for this post.
I'm also trying to do what David asked and you mention above. I can't find the "Prop button" you mention. My menu path is Advanced Properties...Sticks/Switches Setup...and then navigate under Control No. to my 3 pos switch. I do see a check mark when I toggle it...but I do not see the "Prop button".
Am I in the wrong menu perhaps?
Thanks,

Thanks,
The 5 buttons directly under the display should be labeled Centr, Prop., Rev., Clr, Ok, while in the Select Input Control Menu. You get to the Select Input Control Menu by scrolling to a switch field and then clicking on it in menus such as Free Mix or Function Assignment, that have switches associated with them.

The Advanced Properties, Sticks/Switches Setup menu is also used to assign control functions, such elevator, rudder etc, the the appropriate control stick and also to assign trip points, where they will be considered On/Off, etc. For example, if you want to use your throttle stick being advanced above 25% to start a timer (or whatever), you would go to Sticks/Switches setup and select P3 (throttle for mode 2) and adjust the "Switch On" and "Switch Off" fields to select where you want it to turn on/off when used as a switch to control timers, etc.

Hope this helps.
Wayne

Has the DC-24's projected release been pushed back to the 3rd or 4th quarter? Thanks.

The target is is obvious, better telemetry data and functionality than you could ever image.
