Since AT&T closed their free text to speech wav generator, I use a speech recorder app on my phone that records me saying whatever I need for the Tx, and generates a wav file. By coincidence with what you want, my first one is a low fuel warning to be triggered at a certain mAh reading from the MUI30 set in the fuel pump wires.

Did some fiddling with Flight monitor. Good app after getting the hang of it :-P Now I use Jeti all way round from Batteries to Rx to BEC. Running 13 servos, linear motor for slats, electric retracts, breaks and LED light via the SBEC I found it keeping the voltage very well. 5.87-5.92volt during the whole flight. Also the Jeti telemetri adaptor for the ECU works well. MUI30 not needed any more and it's easy to setup an alarm for low EGT or low RPM to indicate flameout.

Also the jeti Power ions are nifty as you can discharge them to 2.5volt/cell. This means when my alarm sounds at 5.8volts I still have a couple of hundred mAh left to safely land.

All this in a 48" foamy

Why not create your own for free. http://www.fromtexttospeech.com/

You then use a free converter (http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wav) to convert the file to WAV.

Yeah know. One huge pro with a cheap airframe is that you can fly badass without your knees shaking too much.

I got myself a freewing stinger 90 to fool around when I have no access to our tarmac field and I must say I was pleasantly surprise. Jeti all around too.

Surprising how much foamies have progressed and how cheap they are to buy fully loaded with retracts, lights....

But I still prefer my turbines for the sound and knee shaking LOL

Look what just showed up:
Jeti Universal Switch Expander SW4 $34.00

Zb/Esprit Model

The Jeti Expander SW4 is an extension for Magnetic and RC Wireless switches and it’s designed for switching multiple devices simultaneously. The Jeti The Expander SW4 allows you to combine the switching duties so that several devices can be controlled using one only element. Furthermore, some outputs are optically isolated to prevent interference. This makes it is possible to isolate control of devices which may be sensitive to electric interference.

Now you can simultaneously turn ON/OFF your Central Box 200 and Power Main Switch using Jeti R3/RSW Wireless RC Switch.

I think using a foamy when you switch to this radio is an excellent Idea.. I put it on my Habu and then my Habu32 after flying it on the trojan.. It allows you to set up your sound files and make lots of changes while learning

The first plane I put mine into was my 104" Dolphin jet.
I was going to do the foamy, old jet and new jet thing but just said the heck with it and put it in a brand new jet. Got about twenty flights so far. I'll go backwards and do the old jets then foamy soon.

Need some help guys...
I have brain fade tonight.
I am programming a glider and need the 11th channel of my 11channel Jeti receiver. The port indicates 11 / sat. Can some one please guide me as to how to set up that port for the 11th channel?

thanks

Dean with the sytem powered up go to model>device explorer>R11>General settings>set to>output - pin 11 which is the default

you should be able to reset using the reset to factory settings button

Funny thing...I thought of that knowing that the rec. was bound. It is not however, listed in the device explorer....
thoughts?

So, I have played with the Jeti brand now for a year and really like the versatility it offers BUT it can be very frustrating at times. Especially around new components and matching them to the system. I know....in the end it works but it can take hours of internet searching and asking questions. On the other hand, at least there is support unlike other brands. The receiver is a brand new 11 channel that was purchased a month ago. It was not until I updated it that I finally got the Device Explorer to recognize it. So all is well but it should have worked without having to spend hours trying to figure out why it was not.

Hi ZB,
I'm using an Airpower (Power Distribution Systems) PDS-620A connected to a Futaba 14Mz Rx, but want to remove the Fut and use my Jeti CB200.

My Q is: How do I connect my Jeti CB200 to the PDS-620A??

The problem is that the 620A requires power connected directly to it; but then the CB200 also needs direct power input?

Am I correct in assuming that anyone using a Powerbox has the same problem?

many thanks,
Leon

Why using a PDS with the CB200?
Do you need 6V for servos or HV? On HV, just connect your batteries to the CB200, for low voltage just use a BEC system from Jeti or a Powerbox Gemini 2, there may be more.

The CB200 is a power distribution center as well and you don't want to use 2 of them in the same airplane. If you like the way the PDS620A works and want to keep it, simply replace the Futaba receiver with a regular Jeti receiver such as the R14.

Personally, I would simply remove both the Futaba receiver and the PDS620A and install the CB200 in their place. If servo travels, etc are set through the PDS620A then you will simply need to redo your servo setup via the transmitter. You will need to do this anyways since the Jeti transmitter provides greater servo travel than JR, Spektrum or Futaba for the default servo end point settings. t

Hi René,
I originally set up my plane with the PDS/Fut Rx and afterwards bought the Jeti. My Q is; do I need to ditch my PDS system if I want to use CB200 plus Rx's? Or is there a way to connect? I use 6v servos.
many people use Powerbox systems...if they use Jeti do they remove Powerbox completely?

MI-25, just remember that the CB200 will not regulate your batteries so beware depending on your setup with the 6V servos.

As stated, just fly it with CB200 and satellite receivers. I use always Life batteries, just regulate down to 6V for normal servos; CB200 specifications are from 4..14V.

Yes thanks Putt Putt, I'm aware of that - I use a Powerboat Sensor switch....regulates to 5.9V...
cheers,

I think you will be very happy with that choice. The CB200 provides battery share, per channel over current protection to the servos as well as telemetry for each battery input for voltage, current and capacity used. This is particularly nice for A123 packs as it provides a very nice way to see not only the battery voltage but to set alarms for capacity used so you know when to recharge, etc.. It's a VERY nice unit and it's compact and light weight as well. I've been using the CB200s in all my Aerobatics airplanes 100cc and larger for about 2 years now and I've been very happy with them..
